there’s something VERRRYYY suspicious going on. The lowkey release (even tho the album announcement has 13 million likes it’s still lowkey for Taylor), the immediate track list reveal (no codes, mayhem, nothing), the fact that the “file name” is “the manuscript”, the book theme of the album. Something more is brewing. 

These are UNHINGED song titles. London Boy -> So Long London is going to be Joe Alwyn’s villain origin story.

The announcement has more likes than any of her previous album announcements on Instagram and it hasn’t even been 24 hours 

Hang on I was just reminded that Joe Alwyn said in an interview that he and a few other BFs of famous female musicians were in a WhatsApp group called “The Tortured Man Club” oh this album is gonna end him 

I still think part of spacing out the TVs is to give the current owners have a chance to come crawling back to her and try and sell her original masters back. I doubt they’ve sat and silently watched her completely devalue their crown jewel—it’s only a matter of time before she owns her full catalog again imo. 

And what was that about Taylor being “rude” to Celine? Between Lana’s losses and the vitriol this thread had for Taylor (literally wishing her death) I think I’m calling it a night. I hope when Lana wins her Grammys, she doesn’t even bother attending and they don’t make a single red cent off using her for promo. 

Also aside from the Lana and Olivia snubs, I’m a bit sad that Gracie didn’t get anything either. I know she’s a nepo, but her debut album was genuinely very pretty and deserving of the “best new artist” accolade.
