I love maybe 3 of her songs, but the rest don’t resonate with me at all—the same goes for Mitski Both Mitski and Phoebe have made some of my favorite songs of all time, but 99% of their discographies…not for me

I almost never listen to country, but I genuinely think Lana would do an amazing job with it—she would just need the right producer to deliver it. She’s stated her taste in music for country before, and I genuinely think it would really pair well with her storytelling, and we’d probably get some super catchy melodies, too! I also think it’s important to note that—not only is her taste in country is very different than modern country—but she’ll likely put her own Lana-esque spin on it. I’m still very open to the idea

Didn’t BoZ say that this album was recorded late 2021, early-to-mid 2022 (I think)? I find that interesting considering we know A&W will feature hip-hop elements, and she listed Migos as a collaboration wish in December 2021. Maybe she was having some inspiration from them and cooked up A&W in the process?

Has the entire album been described as adventurous? I remember BoZ calling A&W specifically “unprecedented” and that we’d have “variety,” but I do hope you’re right—I’d love to see more experimentation!
