Now that the song has been out for a year and I’ve been able to really listen to it closely, I hear and really think it’s “most men don’t want a woman with a legacy - it’s her bane”!

Omg I was trying to decipher that this morning, and that makes complete sense in the context of the song. thank you!!

  2. Nectar Of The Gods would likely be in my Top 5 of Blue Banisters if the chorus had revised lyrics. It’s all subjective, but I found the whole “I get wild, fucking crazy/Like you never knew” to be a bit recycled, cliched, and repetitive…but that’s just me

  3. Can’t wait to open Spotify & psychoanalyze all of you individually tonight:smokes: lol

But anyways here’s my list—not necessarily my favorites but songs that I feel represent myself, my life’s progression, etc.:

I'm in the mood to be delusional and I feel like LDR9 will be a double album:blush3:

    I’ll join in the delusion.

You know, I still find it strange that Lana’s management publicly shared a fan theory about a double release. We never got a clarification for that.

What if there is/was a side-project she intended to go alongside Blue Banisters that she decided to save? What if that explains Kali Uchis saying Lana reached out to her for a collab, Lana’s team sending a song to Pusha T, and Lana saying she wants to work with Migos.

Maybe Interlude - The Trio was an easter egg or even a scrapped piece from a hip-hop-inspired EP (she did say she’d love a digital release, too). Just a thought..:ma:

  6. I was hoping someone would eventually make this a thread. @lanadelrey a legend as always!

Sun (Honeymoon)—Aquarius Sun IRL: This was tough! Something about Honeymoon’s detachedness and almost lethargic expression has always resonated with me despite the record carrying a lot of emotion. The metaphysical themes stitched into the record (such as in Burnt Norton - Interlude) feel very integral to myself as well.

Moon (Ultraviolence)—Aries Moon IRL: I’m not the most emotionally expressive person, but when I do feel something, I purely experience that sensation with very little cognitive interference. A lot of my emotional processing is centered around catharsis, and I think Ultraviolence is the perfect embodiment of that.

Rising (Violet)—Aquarius Rising IRL: In person, I’m fairly timid and soft-spoken, and I tend to speak in a way that is (sometimes overly) attentive to the exact words I hope to deliver to others—even when I’m rambling. I think Violet is gentle in its approach, and I’ve been told I behave similarly, so maybe it’s a good fit (assuming Violet counts as an album lol)
