I don't think Lana refused to have a verse or a bigger part... Taylor probably asked directly if she wanted to sing in the background and that's it (which is kinda weird on her part but oh well Taylor things). Also those lyrics... there's no Lana in that. Her credit probably comes from the 2 note melody she allegedly sings

It's really fun! I love the concept and it has some great songs even though the last tracks were a bit weaker... but I still really like it as a whole

I don't know I feel like Lana usually does real features... yes she had only some vocals on Woman and God Save Our Young Blood but she also had a full outro on the title track, the full bridge of DCMA, almost the whole song on Stargirl, a whole cover of TJM, a verse + other vocals in Riverside, a proper distribution on Dayglo Reflection etc etc...

At least I don't have to stay up all night on Thursday now...

I just listened to it and I literally couldn't hear Lana at all Also I'm glad I didn't like the song... I would be more upset if I actually liked it and we didn't get Lana vocals

Around 4 months yes... I guess it also depends on the label and what plants they are using. I wonder if now that the pandemic is kinda over (at least business wise) the process got sped up or if it's still slow cause the demand increased like crazy. It's still probably around that time considering a lot of artists that released this October announced their albums in June-July (Tove Lo, The 1975, Ava Max's first date etc)
