I fell asleep for like 20 minutes and had this really vivid dream of posters of Lana appearing in different cities. It was the selfie™ but with big red letters saying MISSING and a phone number. When you called there was this voicemail of Lana screaming DO NOT CALL. I woke up scared for my life (like literally shivering) cause that scream wasn't human She really infiltrated my dreams like a succubus

She probably has enough unreleased (and I mean unheard, not counting the countless leaked songs) material for 3 or 4 albums at this point without having to write anything at all . The list just keeps getting bigger cause she just doesn't stop writing and going to the studio to record new stuff. I honestly don't think there's anyone as prolific as her that writes their own songs right now (let me know tho) I know that some artists choose among hundreds of songs to create their albums but those are just demos taken from songwriting camps and passed around the labels (and by this I don't mean to shame those singers but there's a difference between curating what's essentially a "personal playlist" and creating albums from scratch)

I feel like something always leaks before there's a Lana announcement/release Like MMITPM before West Coast, Because Of You right before UV (album), BAR right when LFL rollout started, French Restaurant and Bellevue before the triple BB singles... I'm sure there's something going on behind the scenes

I like speculating when we actually know something about the album but when we are clueless (like right now) is a bit meh I agree someone make a fake tracklist or something

Realistically... I'm thinking around May or June. Or maybe she will say something when posting about the FJM song (like "FJM's album is out now with a cover a made for one of his songs. Excited to let you hear more new music soon"

I feel like we never got any real confirmation that they worked on more songs I remember him saying they got at least one (that ended up being WFWF) and didn't Lana say something about working with him in the future in that Variety event? It doesn't help that one livestream where he talked about Lana the sound was broken as hell But I'm manifesting that one of those albums is LDR9 Even if Jack is involved I don't think he's the main producer so maybe his team is not doing the mastering of the whole thing

This actually makes sense I mean it's the only song that would maybe fit a rap collab (even though it would end up being Pusha T ft. Lana.... unless she raps too )

That's so random is Lana even aware of that? I'm sure they called without saying anything to her at all. After LFL a collab with a rapper wouldn't be weird but a remix of an existing song? Imagine him hopping onto Cherry Blossom or something I'm sure she will continue with her trend of weird song structures and irregular verses where she fits every word she wants to even if it doesn't match the tempo

Question for the culture: Now that Nikki Lane, Joni Mitchell, Joan Baez, Jenny and Charlie and Chuck have had their names appear in Lana's music - can she please go back to singing about old historical figures and icons like Marilyn, Elvis and Jesus without being crucified or saying she's not evolving as an artist??????

My dream rollout for LDR9: April: May: June: July: August: And that's it, a concise and "short" rollout with "only" 4 months between lead and album with someting releasing every month but without spoiling too much

Part of me thinks DNC is just one of the songs from the album (maybe her favorite and the lead single) but why would she get the jacked just to "tease" a far away single She usually picks the album title in very early stages and that's why they end up being changed (MTWBT, Bird World, WHF, RCS...) so maybe DNC is the concept she had for it but we'll have to see how things are in the end

She's really containing herself this time. We know an album is in the works but she didn't say anything about the title, song titles, fake dates, misleading covers and not even a snippet Even though I'm thirsty for news it's very exciting to know nothing about what's to come (and we at least have a new song coming next month for the meantime)

She usually (or at least used to) film her MV beforehand so even if it's indeed a MV it could be coming later than we think I'm having MTWBT flashbacks with the creepy models teasing it all the time months in advance
