Honestly that would be a dream come true for me . Zach is involved in this album (If she didn't scrap everything) and he's the bassist of TLSP so I hope we get something similar to their albums cause Lana would really shine in that genre

Maybe we are getting different versions of the album? Like 12-14 standard tracks and then 2 o 3 extra on each one. Maybe Lana wants to take advantage of her label making her release like 7 different vinyls so she puts out different "deluxe" variants.

If she releases Thunder in LDR8 we could have some more rock bops on the album My only fear is that she somehow reworks it into an acoustic track

Do we think there is a clue on the instagram story Neil posted to wish happy birthday to Lana? I mean the song not the outtake or the cake. It's probably just a song Lana loves but: It's Fruit Of Dreams by Les Baxter. A piece by that artist is featured on the dancing scene of the Doin' Time MV and also Lana said in a Facebook post in 2015 "Music to Watch Boys to is one of my favourite songs from the record, I love the 30 second a cappella beginning. Reminds me of what Les Baxter would've had as a bonus track on Jewels of the Sea". It sounds beautiful so imagine if it's a sample she's using or it's featured in the lead single high budget MV . EDIT: Well, I was researching about the album the song was from (The Sacred Idol) and it was supposed to be the soundtrack of a movie that never got released . Unmanifesting everything now.

This pre release is the complete opposite of Chemtrails. For Chemtrails we got no music but we got a lot of photoshoots bts, interviews (that weird wideo too) and enigmatic instagram stories of her team going to different places. Also the Chemtrails MV bts where she told us about wanting to release LMLYLAW first. For LDR8 we have 3 brand new singles but virtually no word from Lana, no interviews/shots and no idea about visuals (other than the selfie and the BB MV teaser that I now think it's random footage from the album trailer or just scrapped all together). Maybe now that it's not the title track anymore she doesn't want it to be a single? I don't know

Even if there's still nothing new on the store I think the changes mean something. Why would they update 3 month old stuff anyway? I think they are setting everything up for LDR8 We also have boz saying it's likely that we avoided the delay... (and he said that we could expect a delay when he first spilled about the album) so a lot of things happened behind the scenes these months

But at least with Chemtrails we kinda expected it cause the next day was the preorder and she usually posts cover and tracklist the day before... now we have no clue and it can be at any time

Doesn't she usually post about her birthday the day after (or at least later in the day) after she has celebrated with her family and friends. I can see her posting some pics and a caption like "so grateful to be able to spend this special day with my loved ones, (something about her friends having birthdays in June), (something shady about pat) and so excited to share my story in my new album coming out (insert real date). And later that day the proper reveal with the preorder

I think it's more that she found a new direction. Since NFR she's been in this singer songwriter headspace with more detail in the lyrics and simple but beautiful vocal melodies than in huge production. We'll have to see if she continues like this in LDR8 (the 3 singles are kinda that way but she doesn't always pick the most representative tracks to release first so we'll see). In the visual department we still don't know what to expect either cause we thought we were doomed after the LMLYLAW single cover but we got a high budget video for Chemtrails anyway so... maybe the selfie covers are not representative of this era's aesthetic (even though they are kinda iconic now not gonna lie)

I think he didn't like Dealer so if it was supposed to be in RCS/BB/LD8 maybe we'll get it this time

With how he worded it, it has to be about the album as a whole (cause he said project so it's not about the 3 singles). As some of you said, if she changed the tracklist maybe the concept changed too... I think when he told us about the new title and all that he said that after it's released he would spill some fun facts about the scrapped material so maybe we'll know then.

If she changed almost the entire tracklist that means that she had a lot of songs already done so I don't know why some people say that the album is not done and not coming at all this year . I know it's Lana and her dates are well... you know but if boz had the album (the first "version") and now saw the new title and tracklist with an alleged release date... something must be coming. Also we got 3 songs already, we know the album is real if we had no music at all I'd be worried. The only thing I don't understand yet is the lack of preorder less than 2 weeks before the album. The only way I can see a delay is because of physicals cause the other option would be that her team wouldn't let her release so close to Chemtrails. That is already cleared cause she already had 3 singles out and Ben liked some posts about the album right?

Imagine if this is her (second?) selftitled... it would be fitting to reveal it on her birthday

Gucci's new fragrance is called Flora Gucci Gorgeous Gardenia but there's no Lana in sight (well it's not technically new but it's like a new release from that line or whatever)

I love Lana's vocal production lately cause even without much in the background it sounds good and full but I miss when her instrumentals were like musical pieces on their own. Without awkward pauses and all that you know

This has the same energy as when we used to say "she is going to release Chemtrails when she stops promoting Violet"
