She's waiting for a Thunder like all of us

I don't think it's coming before September but at least we have Chemtrails for the 2022 Grammy but I'm not expecting much. Maybe a nomination for Best Pop Vocal Album or something for the title track. Imagine if she wins her first Grammy with Chemtrails haters will combust into flames

I tried to Shazam it and nothing showed up. Also I searched for the lyrics and

It sounds familiar but it doesn't really sound like Lana to me after 2 o 3 listens so I'm not sure about it

The first time I listened to the snippet I thought she was going to say "My body is a map of LA, I stand straight like an A" like the letter A and now I can't think about anything else when that part comes (stranger than a stranger vibes)

I really like Cherry Blossom but I'd be more excited if it didn't leak and we only had that snippet she randomly sang on Instagram. I'm still looking forward to it cause I like the song and I know she's going to rework it into a masterpiece

BOZ said we are getting vocals with the next single so I can see it being called Good God. Maybe she scream/moans the title in the chorus

But we also have Thunder so unless she made it acoustic maybe we'll have like 2 sides on the album: Piano driven ballads and soft rock-ish tracks like Thunder (with maybe some songs like Text Book acting as the nexus). If we get more backing vocals like TB, Thunder (and Summertime even though it's not on the album) it can also go in a jazzy direction. There's also the possibility that Cherry Blossom got reworked into a string heavy cinematic track Either way I'm excited cause I loved every bit of music we got so I expect greatness

Now that I think about it, Lana posted the Cherry Blossom lyrics like 2 days after releasing Chemtrails so maybe that was the unreleased insiders were talking about when we first got info about the album and thunder was added later. But by boz posts it looks like Cherry Blossom was confirmed recently so the timeline is confusing af

With Cherry Blossom practically confirmed I need this album to be long. With Chemtrails we only got 11 tracks and we had 4 before the album (LMLYLAW, title track and the collabs). Well and the TJF snippet. For BB we have 3 singles (+1 coming) and the 2 unreleased so that makes at least 6 songs before the album and I don't have the willpower to not listen to singles so please miss Lana bless us with a 16 track album

With Lana working faster than vinyl plants can press we'll never have to worry about her not releasing an album each year

I know this is a reach but Ben said 2 albums this year (I know the other one is 99% Chemtrails) but he put a Thunder emoji in the caption and boz also teased Cherry Blossom while saying they need to make another thread..... so.... what if she is indeed releasing 2 albums (not counting Chemtrails) with the other one being the Unreleased Collection with Thunder and Cherry Blossom

I love Cherry Blossom but I think 1 unreleased in the album is enough for me (unless she heavily reworked the songs or we get like 16 tracks) but at the end of the day is not her fault the songs leaked so... I respect her decision. Or maybe we are getting the unreleased collection too

At least by the way the cover is made they can change the title to be anything that fits in that space without having to change the photo

This is shaping out to be one of her best albums (if not her best). After the three masterpieces we got back in May now we can add this sultry piano ballad that sounds like an upgraded May Jailer/Lizzy track

I'm fucking crying that album cover is gorgeous. Her Hounds Of Love moment And that snippet and MV are so simple yet so beautiful

Do you think the scrapped songs will find a home in a future album? According to Gabe they started working pretty quickly cause Lana had a clear vision of what she wanted to make. I guess TB and BB came from those early sessions so if the other songs are like that I wonder why would she remove them. Maybe they were too personal? (Somehow even more than WW). Maybe she doesn't feel prepared yet to tell some parts of her life or something. I mean she removed Yosemite from LFL because it was too happy and she wasn't quite there yet so if she doesn't feel like releasing a song she just doesn't do it Lana seems very meticulous about her albums cause she's always changing stuff until it feels right to her, she doesn't just put all the songs she has for an album like it was a random playlist so I'm excited for what's to come.

I can't believe Chuck's baby was born in June too. Every year the list of June birthday wishes from Lana gets longer and longer (just like LDR8)
