  1. For me it's exactly the opposite. I loved the vocals and lyrics but the melodies didn't stick with me that much (other than Text Book). After some listens I love them as a whole tho.
  2. Oh I thought he had the pro features. Didn't he change WD to White Dress or something when the name was revealed? I even ctrl + F "lana del rey" in every page so I didn't miss anything so it's weird that it's now there with the BB cover and under her name. Maybe I stalked him earlier than the 5th but I didn't feel so long ago. Anyway, at least we have double confirmation now so it has to be coming very soon. Now we just wait till the lana.lnk.to/arcadia send us to spotify
  3. He had to change it recently cause I stalked him some days ago (like literally went all the way till May) and I couldn't see any new Lana tracks.
  4. I literally suscribed to a site that sends you an email every time a web changes to check the lana.lnk. Being a Lana stan is weird
  5. Wait... if the title Arcadia is real that means the November date must be too omg (and the title change then)
  6. We are running out of sites to get info for the next eras. Random Russian webs, google play, shazam, youtube...
  7. We know what to do now. Shazam the snippet and check lana.lnk.to/arcadia everyday
  8. I can't believe it's actually true . If it isn't the new album title at least the single is coming soon. Just some days ago I was talking how I wanted Lana to do something related to Egypt and she came through with the (Greek) mythology. I'm afraid it's just about Arcadia, California but I'll still manifest a mythological historical witchy magnum opus . You Roll Like (Zeus') Thunder coming soon too...
  9. Delulus (we) are deluluing as usual. Some insider said the new album is called Arcadia and it's coming in November. Then some random Lana tw account posted that Youtube Music confirmed the new single being Arcadia too (something about copyright claims when posting the song). We still have no confirmation on any of that but at least the thread is alive and breathing with excitement and positivity It was Lana (the Serene Queen) so that we stopped fighting
  10. November 2nd is a Tuesday so in Lana's calendar it's the perfect date.
  11. Ok so we couldn't confirm the Youtube Music thing but do we know who was the insider spilling about Lana? I can't find where that screenshot came from and I don't want to get my hopes up too much
  12. I love BB as a title but if it's really called Arcadia I swear I'm getting it tattooed on my Chemtrails Over The Country Club.
  13. So the new single is the alleged title track. Arcadia is this heavenly and idilic place. She sings about her body being a map with byways and all that. It all adds up Aaaarcaaadia is the new ooooklahoooma.
  14. I can already see the d**ee snippets titled Sunburn
  15. The only official dates for me are the ones attached to a preorder and a full album reveal (actual cover and tracklist). After the September 5th thing I won't get mad about random dates on IG posts. Also, why are we talking about this now? . At least this time she teased the single and album without promising any specific day.
  16. Billboard's stupid rule really fucked her work dynamic up. She gets excited and announces a new record without realizing that she has to sit on the finished record for 2-3 months while physicals get done. She's used to make a lot of last minute changes and additions but now that means a long delay. She was so unsure about the Chemtrails tracklist cause once she submitted it, she couldn't change it at all and I'm sure the same happened with BB and its tracklist change. I guess the better thing for her (and us) would be to just announce things when they are actually happening and set in stone and not in a limbo of technical and music industry shit (but I can't blame her really, I'd also get excited about my hard work). She's literally making records faster than vinyl plants can press them
  17. Even if we are in a drought now at least things will speed up soon when we get the single cause I'm almost sure now that the album reveal and preorder are coming with it. More than 5 weeks passed since the snippet so they must be wrapping up and getting everything prepared for the reveal. It makes no sense to cling to a random single for that long if it wasn't the proper one that will start the era.
  18. I think that's very subjective. For me Chemtrails is as interesting as BTD. She hasn't lost a bit of what made her stand out. She was always about the music and that's it. Look at Video Games, she isn't even in 80% of the MV and still made people tune in a be interested in her. All of the pre BTD MV are homemade ones cause she wanted to. If she had the budget to book studio time and record EPs, a whole album and the countless 2009-2011 songs, she had the budget to film standard videos but she didn't. BTD was just the result of a label trying to market her. And don't get me wrong, they did it flawlessly, they combined Lana's great vision with a full team of professionals that made it come alive but I don't think simpler means uninteresting. She said it herself "it's beautiful how this deep normality settles down over me"
  19. Maybe I'm just too optimistic but not having the single yet doesn't mean that the album is not coming this year. She usually drops random songs before the proper single some months before (like HM title track, the NFR multiple songs, LMLYLAW...) but then the single usually comes with a preorder just a month before the album. We still can get the single sometime this month and the album in October. The only thing worrying me is that the MV doesn't look big so maybe it's not the lead (but she still has like 4 and a half months to squeeze in 2 singles and an album)
  20. I really need her to cover Hotel California but I don't think it would fit BB (well it depends on her rendition). Ever since I listened to God Knows I Tried I couldn't stop thinking about it (I also need a studio version of Wicked Game)
  21. I'm almost sure the album is done and Lana is just having a little vacation. I hope the vinyls are being pressed as we speak. If the album was done in june/july (with mixing and mastering included) we can get the album in October-November. Ben sounded confident when he said we're getting a second album this year and I trust him (at least more than Lana)
  22. I want the next single to be the first track on BB. Imagine opening your album with "My body is a map of LA, I stand straight like an angel with a halo" . Also I think some seconds of the start of the song were cut off in the snippet. Imagine a jazzy piano intro I'd ascend.

Also, maybe it's the nostalgia but I don't think anything it's going to top Bombs On Monday for me (for unreleased material)

So far I've listened to: Arts & Crafts: What a tune. The chorus is so so catchy and I love the dark undertones. Coloring Book: I really like the melody and the little beat throughout the song. Cooties: I LOVED this one. The melody is so pretty. Dressed in Mistakes: I loved the cinematic feel of it. Jumprope: I like the prechorus (the apples and gum lines) Ring Pop: I adored the verses and prechorus. The chorus is fun too. Seesaw: She sounds pissed I love it. Eraser: I love how flowy the chorus is. Gluestick: I like it but I couldn't stop thinking how similar the chorus is to another Melanie song and that took me out a bit of it. Papercut: It was fine. History: It's so After School (obviously). I really liked this one too. I'm excited to keep listening to the others I have left. Also I saw there are some demos of released material I haven't listened to yet
  25. I think Lana's approach with the 3 singles had a double (or triple) intention: 1. Putting something out cause she knew the album wasn't coming anytime soon. 2. Letting us digest the songs. I love them now but at first listen they felt very heavy and didn't really click with me sonically that much even though I loved the lyrics. 3. Maybe she wanted those songs to have their own spotlight and time because of the very personal and vulnerable lyrics. Kinda like what she did with Hope.
