What keeps me calm regarding the album concept is that the song where the RCS line came from was old (it was meant for Chemtrails at some point but was written way before that according to insiders). Maybe she just liked Rock Candy Sweet as a phrase and didn't care that much about the song (but I think she does cause she almost put it in 2 albums). If she writed and recorded the title track just to scrap it I would be way more worried. At least we know BB is not the title track anymore but the song is still on the album. I'd pay good money to see all the different tracklists and concepts LDR8 had

Ben is always so passive-agressive I don't like him . Anyway so, we finally have official confirmation that the album is not done. Maybe she finishes it soon but because of Billboard's stupid rules we'll have to wait a minimun of like 2 months at best. Let's start manifesting a mid september release so LDR8 can be Honeymoon's spiritual successor . If she plays her cards right (dealer) with the rollout it won't be that much wait tho. Maybe a single next month with a nice video and then the album reveal and preorder in August. If she gives us something every month I'd be happy. I'm just scared of radio silence from her until fall or something.

How does boz even know when are songs added to albums? Maybe she just recorded and registered a new one unrelated to LDR8. Maybe he can see albums being submitted to labels or something. OR maybe the delay is in boz's info and she changed the title and added the song some weeks ago and we're good

Based on her Instagram followers I can say that: JUNE the new album by Lana Del Rey out in JUNE. Cover and photoshoot by Mike Dean. Produced by Lana herself, Caroline "Chunk" Grant and her newborn baby. Executive producer: Patricia "Pat" Grant. Lead single: "- and I'm born in June" accompanied by a high budget MV directed by Valerie "Freckles" Vogt. Alternative UO cover shot by Nikki Lane's horses. It contains 2 bonus tracks with backing vocals by Nadia Lee and a sample from Charles "Charlie" Grant's sextape that's included in the Ultraspecial collectors edition boxset (along with an audio version of Qftc).

I'm delulu at heart but looking at the bright side... a delay means more time for theories and predictions that never become true . I think it's funny how every time boz spills we know even less than before. Now we don't know the release date, album title or even the producers involved

PSA before the meltdowns on Sunday: I know it's a bit unprofessional to keep pumping out dates and not releasing but please keep it civil. We don't know what goes on behind the scenes and I'm sure Lana isn't doing this maliciously. I guess she just gets excited and announces the first date that makes sense (for her ). At the end of the day it's just music and we got an album 3 months ago. Just forget a bit about the pre release and it will come out eventually. Maybe she'll release some singles or whatever while we wait. Also I'd take the delay if it means we get a nice rollout with pretty visuals

If there's only 1 Mike song on the album where are the new songs she put from? . Maybe they didn't make a whole album after all. Or maybe she's sure she wants them on the next one instead. I had a dream last night that the next single's MV leaked in LQ with no audio and the song leaked on Soundcloud so every time we wanted to watch it we had to sync both things. It was CHAOS . Btw I'm not expecting an announcement anymore. If the album is really coming this weekend it will come out as a "surprise" with no reveal or preorder.

You just made a great point. Maybe she just wants to tell her story without having to worry about the music industry shit. That would explain the 3 random singles release, the silence and the selfies as covers. If she didn't need a big budget for this album maybe her label is ok with a surprise/no-promo release this time. As long as the music is good (the singles were great) I'm fine with that but I lowkey hope we get nice visuals even if the songs are very deep and personal.

Why I think the album could be coming on the 4th (or at least very soon): - Store closed and everything moved to ldr village (before we got the NFR preorder the website also closed and asked for a password) - Chemtrails stuff on sale - Lana has been working on this for a while and we know she's fast (even if she scrapped/changed the tracklist) - There was acknowledgement of the July 4th date by her label and team (more than there was for the June 1st date or even the September 5th) - Mike's tweet yesterday (he wouldn't have responded like that if it wasn't coming. When fans asked for BTD 2 he said something like "artists don't repeat eras, they evolve" so he's not just clout chasing saying what stans want to hear) - BOZ said the date didn't change. If they had the final tracklist with the new album name and everything, even if it was delayed because of physicals, they would have a release date already (even if it was 3 months from now). Why I think it could be delayed: - Lana's silence (even if the 3 singles were released with no word, her singles doesn't make that much noise anyway but I'm sure her label would make her promote at least a bit the album cause it's the main focus of her career) - Insider's silence (Lana usually releases a big MV and single with the preorder or the album to promote it but insiders didn't say anything yet and they usually have that info a week before) - No preorder (it's not mandatory but it's weird we don't have it) - Tracklist and title change (she announced Blue Banisters at the end of April so unless she changed the album title the next week she would have had no time to send vinyls to pressing plants. Another option is that she changed the concept before that and only announced BB as a single) - Deleted posts (Maybe she deleted the BB snippet and that pic that could be the cover when her plans changed and scrapped the concept but it would be too late for a July release) - July 4th is a Sunday (if she has physicals ready she would only lose a bit of first week sales because of streaming but if she has no preorder and it's digital only it would be commercial suicide and even though Lana doesn't care her label does)

I think the emoji is because his brand or artistic name or whatever is called "Boy In The Castle". I still think it could be for Lana cause if they have a big MV they are probably going to release it with the album and the date would match the teasing...

Lana followed him "recently". She also followed Mike Dean and Nadia Lee (a photographer) around that time. She met Mike at an award's afterparty (so I guess at least 1 and a half years ago) but only followed him close to the release of the 3 singles so I think there is a connection between Lana following artists and them working together.
