  1. I'll try to say one from each main/iconic Lana producer (some tracks have multiple iconic ones working together tho) Rick Nowels: Cola and anything from HM (Salvatore and TBD stand out). Also anything he worked on for LFL. Guess who my favorite producer is Dan Auerbach: West Coast Tim Larcombe: OTTR JackOff: Venice Bitch (A&W guitar intro is close) Dan Heath: Body Electric David Kahne: Kill Kill Zach Dawes: Thunder Drew Erickson: IYLDWM, Fingertips (the way he arranged the song from actual voice notes is impressive)
  2. I think it was You Can Be The Boss. I didn't use spotify that much back then so I was shocked when I couldn't find it on Born To Die since she even had a live performance of it so I assumed it was on the album
  3. I think she's getting 4/5. She deserves AOTY too but there's a lot of competition in that category The alt awards are basically set and CN has Jon + great song + not that strong competition A&W was insanely praised by critics and SOTY is all about the songwriting so I can see her taking that one too.
  4. That's so sweet of you @Embach My favorite part of LB is the speculation and theories so I'm not really around during the actual album cycles so I'll be more active once I can get into full delulu mode again Best of luck to all Lanaboardians nominated
  5. I also prefer solo Lana but the collabs on Ocean Blvd were really good so I'm kinda not against features anymore For example I'd love for her to work with SYML and RIOPY again but on original tracks this time. I wonder if she would credit them as features of just as producers even if they would just play the instruments since they are recording artists with labels and all that.
  6. Being 100% in delulu mode: - A&W MV (even if homemade) as Grammy campaign early/mid January - Grammy sweep (all 5, not only the alt categories) - Covers album soon after the Grammy's - Unreleased Collection in the spring (non promoted) - First song from LDR10 in the summer, album in the fall. - More MVs this tim. Alternative timeline if we don't get the unreleased collection or covers album: - Lead single from LDR10 in May (matches her timing between album cycles) - LDR10 late summer 2024 with max of another 2 pre release songs in the summer. There are some things I actually expect to happen tho, like her starting the next era in mid 2024
  7. Our hairdresser era Remember when she had dark red hair for like 2 days? I loved that color. Also when she had the Sharon Tate hair after HM I love blonde Lana but I think dark hair kinda suits her the most... even though I'd love a throwback to the BTD auburn/blonde (?) hair.
  8. I mean LFL (specially the outtakes and demos paired with the Neil photoshoot and trailer) are somehow witchy but yeah at this point is just a running joke and wishful thinking
  9. I wouldn't mind Chemtrails 2.0 with different producers we know she's working with Jack and more people this time (similar to Ocean Blvd I guess) so it's going to be interesting even if it's just a collection of simple songs. I still don't know what to expect cause Ocean was really diverse even if she only mentioned the "automatic singing" and confessional lyrics in the interviews before the album (which were accurate but not for the whole record). Also it's probably far from done... I'm sure she has a lot of songs already but she has to change the tracklist around 4 times as usual and she's for sure still writing and recording stuff that might not even be similar to her descriptions...
  10. I saw this on twitter and assumed it was from the pre NFR era what I think it's the illusion of her hair looking shorter than it is because of the lighting and background
  11. Waiting for the Margaret unofficial MV edits from this She has the whole needed cast right there
  12. That 2.0 account it's not her. It's from 2021 and had like 15 name changes They probably saw Lana deactivating and wanted to get the attention
  13. I wouldn't mind having her previous covers in the album (of course only the ones that don't belong to any record). I need Summer Wine on streaming Maybe when the song is released in the US she will post about it and hopefully she announces the full thing (if it's even planned ) It would be a nice Christmas gift and Grammy campaign too... they love the classics
  14. She's so unpredictable. We got SYTH in May (?) and thought we were getting the unreleased collection and now we get this What if we get BOTH projects in the near future
  15. Both Fishtail and the Jon Interlude are suddenly nowhere to be seen (at least in my region) in the Instagram music feature... it probably means nothing but I find it a bit weird It would be so Lana to make a MV for those two and release them as singles as Grammy campaign It's probably a random bug in the platform but sometimes tracks disappear temporarily from there when there's some kind of distribution change (for example when labels make EPs/bundles with already released singles or when standalone tracks get added to an album)
  16. It's all on Lana probably she loves country and he's the most popular artist of that genre currently
  17. When we thought she was over any kind of standard promo we get stuff like this... something shifted
  18. I wonder if this is like W Magazine where we got (probably coincidentally) glimpses of the next album's aesthetics (black and white, simplicity and vulnerability, boobs). It kinda fits her Americana description for the upcoming album but there's some pictures more on the glam side. I know the majority of these photoshoots have minimal input from the artist but I like to speculate I wish they asked her a bit about music but well... maybe there are some surprises coming not necessarily about a new album but a side project anyway
  19. I love when we get stuff we don't expect I also loved the interview - not necessarily the questions or the interviewer thoughts cause it's the same tired discourse as always - but they described the scene really well I feel like I was there with them
  20. 1. BTD 2. Paradise (technically an EP/reedition but it's long enough and it has a different aesthetic and sound to consider it a whole standalone project) 3. UV 4. HM 5. LFL 6. NFR 7. Chemtrails 8. BB 9. Ocean Blvd (the 9th studio album is literally everywhere in the promo pictures) The pre BTD stuff is technically unreleased and it's not even under the same name and Violet it's not really a studio musical album. It's an audiobook with ambient music made as a selection of poems from her book. More about Violet
  21. The chorus is actually stuck in my head now I just wish Lana had more lines cause the song has grown on me a lot with a couple of listens
  22. I feel like she made the production simpler to make the lyrics even more the focal point of the songs (in some of them more than others). Like for example Kintsugi and Fingertips wouldn't hit as hard if they got a big orchestra or a complex instrumentation (and the orchestra in Fingertips is only really noticeable in specific points and lines of the song). It also makes sense considering the most diverse production appears in the less serious songs like Peppers/TTxVB or for example Judah Smith interlude having the most intricate piano in comparison to other tracks. Other personal and deep songs on the album have prominent and beautiful strings (title track, The Grants) but they still have some simpler moments with room to breathe in comparison to BTD (album) for example, where there was something going on in the background at all times. I prefer that kind of production tho, where even the instrumental on its own was a complete musical piece but I get why she had this switch considering her different approach to music and songwriting now
