I guess it's going to be lyrically lighter as in less personally revealing but I'm sure we're still getting nice and deep (and dramatic ) lyrics cause it's Lana after all...

I doubt the Fenway intro is one of the singles cause unless it was edited for the show or it's just a portion of the original song, it sounds like an intro or interlude I wouldn't mind it as a single tho... it's so good and that way we won't have too many songs spoiled before the whole thing

But is Tough really on the album? It wasn't explicitly said by Lana only assumed by Vogue and the whole promotion was done by Quavo (it's also on his YT Channel). To be fair I don't really care about its fate cause I like it but it doesn't seem like it was planned for the album from the start.

She doesn't release a lot of singles anymore so I assume we're getting another one soon and the next one with the album announcement and preorder... so the record must be coming early 2025 for sure Also the fact that she has 2 singles planned makes me think the whole rollout is decided by now and there are no more delays Also... lowkey glad it's not a full on country album anymore. I appreciate some influences but I'm not a fan of the genre as a whole

The Rose emoji on his hand is so Lana Honeymoon photoshoot but he tagged another photographer so maybe this time he's the model and it's just a side project I still prefer to think it's about Lana tho and either way... knowing her she probably shot all the visuals already

What if the intro today is another track from Lasso I'd prefer these kind of teasers over car snippets

I miss when she used to announce stuff at her concerts and even sing little snippets I know that she prefers it this way but I miss her earlier shows when stuff wasn't that planned and choreographed At least she sang that mysterious intro and Tough last time tho but it didn't feel that spontaneous (cause it was of course planned)

I guess it could also be the last confirmed date they got before the alleged delay and whoever wrote the article forgot/didn't know it's not legit anymore But either way I'm excited cause it's been soooo dry

If they only said September (or even September 20th) I wouldn't move at all cause it's the same info we had... but September 13th is such a specific date Edit: also the fact that it comes from a FNAC derived publication is suspicious they actually have release dates and that stuff before anyone else since they sell the albums. I agree that it's too short of a pre release so I don't think the album is coming but maybe they have some sort of placeholder for that date? I guess if something comes out that day is the preorder or a lead single. I hope she mentions the album in the upcoming shows

Fenway was the last show she did right? I wonder if she's opening the remaining concerts with the new song That would basically confirm that it's from the new record... If it's a one off thing it may be an old unreleased she randomly remembered she liked

I only want insiders for dates this time. We got the whole Ocean Blvd spoiled... like imagine listening to TT x VB without knowing the sample I know I can just not read LB or Twitter but it's too tempting during Lana release season

I don't think Lasso is scrapped but it's probably different in concept from her original idea back in February and it's not going to have the old songs, just whatever she recorded while finishing Ocean and after that And we're definitely getting at least one new song this year (if not the full album in the fall)

I just want clear vocals and good mixing unless it makes sense for the song to sound a bit rough like White Dress or Fingertips which are masterpieces

Her "chilling" is actually a great sign of the album being done She always takes time off right before her albums (and she still has some shows this summer)

MAC/VB were in September and the album next August with singles every 3/4 months so yeah it was annoying and too drawn out but what made it worse was the constant snippet teasing without any release date we heard 70% of the album ahead of its release.

I get what you're saying but Sweet and Fingertips sound like the same Lana era writing wise and while Peppers is a banger and clashes with the overall sound of the album it's still very much a post LFL Lana track. The production is upbeat but other than the sample the overall feel is still a Jack upbeat track similar to the Norman ones. The Fenway intro sounds like Tim Larcombe and Rick Nowels fused together so I'd be really surprised if it's a Jack song (but I'd also be surprised if she worked again with her old producers so who knows... If it is indeed In God's Time I'm sure it has additional production by someone else cause I doubt it's only Jack and Lana (similar to FIILY having the extra drums probably added by Andrew Watt)

I know she doesn't care about making the albums fully cohesive (they still are but there are always some outliers) but the intro song sounds straight up from BTD/Paradise so I can't imagine it in the same record as Henry or a country album in general So it's either that the concept of Lasso was changed or the intro is not on the album. It makes sense to preview an upcoming song in a sold out stadium show so I predict the former

Maybe it's not coming out in September but she announced Ocean Blvd almost as a surprise 3 months before the date so I wouldn't rule out a 2024 release yet I'm really excited for the next Lana album but there's so much stuff coming out lately so I can wait if she decides to release next year instead. We may get a new single later this year anyway even if the album comes out in 2025
