She's been working on the album since Ocean was finished back in 2022 and she still has some months left for a realistic September release

Loved the song overall but the mixing is a bit off The vocals are too loud at some points and they hide the beautiful production

I hope someone uploads the whole thing that very same night cause I can't stay up until AOTY (it's probably the last award right?) but I don't want the Lana wins (or losses) to get spoiled so I plan on waking up extra early and watch fragments of it before work

I wonder if we're getting separate Jack and Luke songs or if they are working "together" (even if not physically in the studio with Lana). I hope she says something about the album at the Grammys even if it's just a little teaser. She always spills so much on red carpets like literally pre announcing Ocean at that random event or song/album titles back in the day

What a dumb take. She is a bad person but she is talented. Just by the fact that sooo many of her verses are more known than the song she's featured in cause people actually like her bars and flows. I'm not defending her actions at all, she sucks for that and her fanbase is equally as evil but trying to change the narrative to "she was never talented, she's a bad writer" is just dumb.

I hope it's like Euphoria where the songs were released around the episode airing date. It would make sense since the first song comes out on the 31st and then there's the premiere of 3 episodes at once on February 14th (maybe Lana's song is used in one of these). There's like 7 weeks between the premiere and the album and the same number of tracks left (assuming they release 1 per episode). Unless we're really unlucky we're getting the song before the album

She'll probably sing it more similar to the Ella version than the og (without that much scatting I guess)

She may take some imagery/themes from country music (like the lyrics from the snippet) but I don't think we're getting a country album. Americana could be almost anything so I definitely expect some guitars but more on the folk-y and blues-y side. It's probably going to be similar to Chemtrails, the acoustic UV era songs, IYLDWM, LTLI... plus something completely new cause it's Lana and she always mixes sounds even in her most cohesive records.

I want the song now but I also wouldn't mind waiting some time for it. The album is probably far from done and if this is the "lead" single we'd have to wait some months for the album to be finished + the vinyl pressing time so it's still far. There's also the possibility that it's not from the album or that the record is almost done Lana contains multitudes so we'll never know... she's been recording at least since April tho (and probably even before since she finished Ocean Blvd in late 2022 and she could have started even while finishing Ocean so...) 2024 is going to be great

If she doesn't release/announce any side project soon I'm sure we're getting some album news late spring We always get at least a single after a year and a couple of months after the previous album. Only HM to Love was a bit late on the schedule but it's true for all of the other post BTD:P albums

I don't mind one or two outtakes from other albums as long as they are not leaked material (or heavily reworked/just reused melodies and lyrics). The already leaked ones can go all together into an Unreleased Collection She has to finally use the chorus of On Our Way for something. She really loves it by the amount of songs with it

At least whatever he's releasing is dropping soon so we'll see if it's Lana related or not. I know he has a separate career from Lana but he knows that teasing will always get attention from Lana fans cause we're always watching

Great songs (obviously) but also a bit of cohesion. There are some albums out there that sound like random playlists where every song is good but lack the feeling of listening to a whole record. Great visuals are just a plus for me. They can elevate an album but I don't mind less effort in that aspect if the music is good on its own.
