I'm so conflicted cause it's giving Lasso but Quavo is the one posting it (Lana is tagged tho) but he just announced a new song for tomorrow so why would he be teasing a his next single already without releasing the new one The producers and MV director are also not usual Lana collaborators so that also points to being a Quavo ft. Lana track but maybe it's just a joint single droplet that doesn't belong to any album. If it was intended for Lasso and it's going to be released... it kinda means that the album is coming tho cause this was made back in February

If it's delayed/changed/scrapped it's still weird that she hasn't said anything yet. I know... WHF/RCS happened but she was basically missing and she actually talked about Chemtrails' delay with the vinyl issue and such. This time she's everywhere (a lot of performances, awards, active on social media...) but she's not saying a single thing about the album other than reacting weirdly to its mention

She's been allegedly recording stuff for it for 4 years and she jumped straight to the studio right after Ocean too and the Alabama sessions... Plus the Luke Laird songs and the Quavo track. She definitely has at least 1 album worth of tracks so I guess the delay (if it's true) is cause she changed direction. Maybe she saw the vinyl deadline coming in April for a September release and she panicked cause once it started if would be harder to cancel

I don't mind her scrapping the country concept but I DO mind not having a new album this year I still have hope tho... I don't trust any random fan without video evidence (other than the LB user which I trust). What I find weird is that she didn't say anything about the delay/scrapping cause she had plenty of opportunities to say it every time it has been mentioned lately Like if she reacts that way to any Lasso question maybe she should actually talk about it instead of acting like she hates the thought of it

But she literally announced it by saying "the industry is going country!" so she seemed pretty excited to release a country album alongside other artists

I hope the Neil looking picture is from the actual photoshoot cause I miss that casual scenery from Lana. I love all of her latest album photoshoots but other than the couple of Ocean semiouttakes everything was so indoors. Like Chemtrails and BB had outdoors pictures but it was either her house or a ranch I love random houses and neighborhoods in the background... it reminds me of the iconic BTD shoot and some pictures from the UV era Plus she's finally blonde again

I think she just puts whatever IG suggests her like when she was constantly posting pictures with the Peppers sound It's 100% for a new track (if it's about a MV) but I wonder if it's for Tough or another Quavo song... The houses look similar to the other teasers/bts pics we got so who knows

I also have WHF/Chemtrails/RCS PTSD but Chemtrails was actually finished by September tho... At least now she knows about the vinyl pressing times and she's accounting for them so I trust her this time

Since the alleged release date is getting closer and closer I think we're getting the full reveal and announcement with the first single like she did for Ocean. I prefer this over a NFR situation with constant teasing and 11 month old singles on release Even if it's a bit delayed (which I wouldn't mind/care cause Ocean is still fresh) I'm so sure it's getting released this year.

Ever since we learned about Lasso I've been excited but also not impatient cause Ocean is still really recent... but at the same time seeing everyone releasing stuff makes me want the album now We're so spoiled but I need it

I am once again reminding you all that Ocean Blvd was almost a surprise release/announcement (the single actually was) cause she wasn't teasing the album at all leading up to the announcement. The last "official" news we had were a CN snippet back in August and she suddenly announced the announcement () less than a week before the preorder. There's so many signs pointing to the album actually coming this year (studio version snippets, her straight up saying it, confirming it to Elle some weeks ago...). The fact that she included Tough and she is releasing it as a single (allegedly) confirms even more than the album is done, cause according to that insider she was considering its inclusion in the record back in February... and guess what... it's in there so the tracklist and album are done and being pressed right now The only counter argument is that vague and confusing interview which was probably about the sound and genre of the record and it sounded more like "it's done and it is what it is, we'll see" than "I scrapped it and started from scratch"

The chorus and outro are nice but I need her to sing the Salvatore bridge for once It's one of the only songs that actually make sense for her dancers to helplessly roll around the stage so I hope we get a full performance this time

She always sings at least a bit of Salvatore in Italy I'm so excited
