it clearly was stop with that narrative! they were 2 absolutely different projects from the very start yes there definitely was a real plans for a second studio album to be released in acoustic sound with songs made in late 2012-summer 2013, and this "tropico era" album was also a different album from ultraviolence, its just when something happened she had to scrap or rework most of these songs to now fit in new album's sound and visuals

well I actually wrote a whole paragraph about timeline based oneverything we know from insider and from lana, but we dont have Jamie xx versions of the songs yet and im pretty sure they arent the one that were intended to be on tropico, and Dan auerbach demo isnt the one that was supposed to be on tropico this is what I could come up with

actually I really really want to know if emile haynie did some of reworks of Unreleased songs besides damn you and hollywoods dead in my Dreams driving in cars with Boys has a version made from him, and maybe some contribution on tv in Black & White and serial killer i really think that lana reworked much more songs in 2011 2012 of her past songs made during 2007-2010, I think we still dont know very much what leakers know, that rework of driving in cars with boys in 2014 is the best possible example

yah i found the first mention of it, it was the very day that is 26th may 2017 when the album was going to be released initially, everyone was so excited and then ben said this i suppose it to be summer bummer as well or maybe they decided to change smth in groupie love since we know that song was worked on till almost end of the record
