Pretty sure he was joking. Despite being the same recordings as the 2013 versions, the songs seem to be remastered. And I think the mastering engineers would have to be given the stems to do that...

When she released Downhill Lullaby and we all thought the album was finally coming after years of delays.....

Now that most of us have heard the Blue Banisters version of If You Lie Down with Me, is anyone else really curious to hear the Ultraviolence era version(s) of that song? I'm pretty sure the one on the album is a newer rework, since Drew Erickson is credited as a producer and co-writer.

I'm not excusing her behaviour but it would just be hypocritical if this thread was locked when the site has active threads for several other problematic artists like Kim Petras or Poppy. I think people should be able to discuss Azealia's music on here if they want.

Additional info - according to Lana Wiki, A Star for Nick and Money Hunny resurfaced in low-quality on December 16, 2011, due to the songs being featured in an old podcast. A Star for Nick leaked in better quality on April 12, 2012, which was followed by the rest of Sirens being posted in May of that year.

Fine China would've been good on Ultraviolence I think, since it was finalised by Dan Auerbach for that album It's such a powerful song... I need to hear Dan's version of it and Yes to Heaven before I die

The leaked version of Thunder was produced during March 2017, we can assume other TLSP songs were recorded around this time (late 2016-early 2017). The last song recorded for Lust for Life was Change in June 2017. So, songs like Thunder/Dealer/California/etc aren't actual Lust for Life outtakes (intended for the scrapped album) but they were recorded during the LFL era

Lost & Found is a gorgeous song, far better than History in my opinion. I transcribed these lyrics back in like May/June, but I never figured out what she's saying in the second half of the bridge (around 2:32). Is anybody able to figure it out?
