Barrie was at the recording session but I actually think he only worked on Nectar of the Gods, not Cherry Blossom. He was credited for playing guitar and co-writing on NotG, but Cherry Blossom is only piano and Barrie isn't credited as a writer.

He says: "I actually wrote [Riverside] back in 2012 when I was living on the southside of Glasgow. At the time I asked Lana 'How would you like to sing this second verse?' It worked and we later recorded it in LA. But it's track I've always wanted to put on an album so I went back and asked Miss Del Rey's permission to use Riverside." "She got back to me saying 'of course' but in return she said 'do you remember those four songs we did together, can I use them?' I had co-produced and co-wrote four songs for Lana in 2013 including the song Summer Wine. So I was like 'Sure'. It was cool as it was like a wee trade off but with songs." I think the 2013 songs are actually: Nectar of the Gods, Living Legend, If You Lie Down with Me, Summer Wine.

No production changes can make Poppy's version of Helium any better, her vocals sound borderline unlistenable on that song. Thankful that Cuca Crocodilia leaked it so we can all laugh

The original high-quality version actually doesn't have the "transition". Sirens and Tunnel Vision were played right next to each other in a Discord voice call which is why Sirens has a bit of Tunnel Vision's intro at the end. It's just an error made by whoever trimmed the leaked recordings.

Streets are saying somebody got mad at Cuca Crocodilia for leaking a Caroline Polachek song, so in result, that person revenge-leaked Dragon's Blood (even though Cuca didn't have this specific Melanie song). A mess I feel bad for Melanie that her new album sessions are leaking but the song is sooo good.

Which songs do you mean? I didn't see any NTMT writer demos leak or be discussed.

Say what you want about Sky, but dragging her for 'stealing' songwriting credits is stupid. She never claimed to have written Legends or Guardian, and even if she didn't, plenty of artists have songs in their discographies that they didn't write. I think people are more mad about the delays, so they're looking for reasons to bash her. But also, I don't really care about how much of the music she wrote or not if it's good. I feel like her vocals really 'make' the songs anyways in the sense that I always prefer her versions.

I think I Want Blood was actually recorded after Cry Baby.

If the song lyrics were changed then someone can edit the original post. Like how the Diet Mountain Dew/Carmen threads contain both the demo and album version lyrics I think they should be moved for now.

That demo is great, but I don't think it's able to top the album version for me.

The album was supposed to be 15 tracks long earlier this year, but the final tracklist got cut down to 10 for some reason. I'm kind of disappointed about that, I'm really hoping there's some type of deluxe/bonus tracks release because there's so many amazing leftover tracks of hers.

If you hate Melanie and her music so much, then how come you check this thread every day while doing the most to try and get her stuff (failing miserably the majority of the time)? Very funny coming from somebody who doesn't care about her.

Those Violets for Roses lyrics were included on official merch I think, which is where they came from. As for Beautiful, I think those lyrics on the page were originally shared on here by lustforlife?
