  1. Waw I like it a lot! She would have made a perfect cover, she would have confused the fans less because more "Marina" with her hair
  2. I can't remember for Superstar and Orange trees, I thought there was no official? I added some fan made which are pretty. Yes I agree, she is elegant but it is true that we have known a more colorful and fun Marina. It bothered me at first and then I learned to appreciate her, I tell myself that she is finally beautiful. Okay for Handmade Heaven, they could have made an effort.
  3. I'm redoing the artist discography right now and lost all the Florence bonus demos I found years ago I was disgusted. Thank you very much for uploading these little treasures.
  4. Marina has a problem with the remixes because they are not great, even the ones from Electra Heart. It's a shame but it should not be made for that. Nevertheless she is nice to have thought of her fans who have been clamoring for a collaboration with an alternative pop artist for a while, Tove Lo is not Grimes but she has a good quality in her songs. She has tried and continues to promote in her own way, she does not give up despite the unwarranted rejection of her album.
  5. Tove Lo has a pretty remarkable pop quality I find, the production is always on top. Personally, I don't like the way she promotes vulgar sex and debauchery parties on almost all of her songs. The remix is useless, the least worst of this era but at least as someone said here she tried.
  6. I like the cover too. Simple but effective, Marina is elegant on it. The content would have deserved less generic songs. It reassures me that I'm not the only one who thinks these singles clearly deserved separate covers.
  7. It's a very beautiful song but I find the melancholy to be overplayed and sometimes I don't really like how Lana sings, I think she could have been better if she would have been natural in her singing. But I like it and when I run into it I listen to it and it makes you really sad.
  8. Not better but really good, it also stands out from the other albums, it has a really vintage / American motel vibe. An album to play in summer in front of the sea. Oh yes ! This title is hated because there is rap but I really find it, Lana is captivating. Perfect for summer.
  9. The album was due out on a Sunday. The 4th is a day when people don't work and party in the United States. Lana is spending time with her family and arguably looking for a new boyfriend. Chuck just had a baby 3 days ago. I think she's at her sister's bedside and having a party at home. Honestly, she's lucky her record company didn't fire her, a few years ago she would have been afraid to do that.
  10. I admit that the management is a real disaster Quite disrespectful coming from his label, they are not well organized.
  11. Without doubt the worst reissue I have heard in a long time. She disappoints me so much it's crazy! How to spoil a birthday in the hearts of fans, seriously, it's really bad. No effort, nothing at all. It's so bad that we don't even hear about it is to say how proud she is... The covers are uninteresting and add absolutely nothing to the album (TEOG I like but it's not crazy either, Kylie Minogue, whom I like a lot, missed MTN). Born this way is a great album with a whole lot of amazing material from that period so I can't understand why she dared to publish this stuff. I expected a lot better, and once again releasing some unreleased songs, photos, anecdotes and all that would have cost her nothing, she is just lazy, disrespectful and annoying at the moment. If it was to post that, you might as well tweet and that's it. She has really changed anyway, she doesn't care about her fans anymore, money making machine
  12. Her album is fantastic, what power. Marina ♥ and her concert in the desert was impressive.
  13. I knew she wouldn't release this album, Lana is not the queen of promises. It seemed obvious to me that this album is compromised because she released Chemtrails only 4 months ago, I know she is productive but the production cannot go as fast as her ideas. It takes time to plan an album, design it, develop it, communication, photos all that, I think the lapse of time was too short, then her last days we see her spending time with her family and friends , we feel that work is not her priority. It's true that it annoys me too, Lana is someone who has something in mind and is going to swing it like that, except that she doesn't really keep her promises and she happens to make fans hope. (more and more impatient because her work is of a high quality) who bet everything on a date and ultimately nothing happens. That's what happened with the mv that were supposed to be released and that she never released. It's annoying but she knows we're loyal, the bitch. With Lana you have to wait for nothing and let things happen. She gave us so many songs and materials that we can really listen to a lot of great music and wait. Even though she produces a lot, she is not a machine and if she wants to rest she does. I hope that in the future she will stop giving dates to create an unnecessary hype because even if she does not give them people do not forget her. She's gained so much of a solid fan core in a short period of time it's pretty crazy. Lots of followers because his work is the best on the market. And there are so many leaks that Lana is there all the time. She can be forgotten and throw away her album without saying anything. I listen to the 3 singles recently released and I must admit that I like them a lot now, they are interesting. WW has a fabulous build that reminds me of Ultraviolence, if she's going to release an album in that style then I would really love her next album to be shot like WW with these foggy guitars.
  14. I'm going to do a lot but I can understand those who don't like BTD as we grew up and people aren't impressed with Lana's young and wild American anymore, but this album from my 28-year-old remains the most iconic to this day. It's excellent, it's a classic. It doesn't sound dated or overproduced to me. It is such a special album that it cannot be linked to any other. There is a real journey on it, all the titles could have been hits if she wanted to. It defines Lana and her entire universe, and that's what we're all here for. If she would have released Chemtrails on her first album I don't think she would have had as much of an impact on the music world, and on us. This record earned her fame and her great career. Like Ultraviolence, it was a perfect era. Chuck did her best photos there, Lana was wild and her unique performances, the promotion, the videos on the tv, you know all that. She embraced without shame this somewhat misunderstood universe against a background of musical perfection. And then, this is the beginning of her demonstrations and her great talent as "Lana Del Rey". BTD is perfect, it will never get old. I'm not even talking about Paradise which is a cut above. A real treasure that a lot of fans reject because it is more obvious and pop, and yet this Lana is good, she really has to come back to something more obvious. Too bad for the anti-pop elitists.
  15. sunday afternoon

    Lorde

Hit me but I never liked Lorde I find her condescending face and her voice monotonous (i know it's wrong to judge personality and physique) i tried. PURE HEROINE was a very good album I admit with beautiful and powerful songs for its age. But something bothers me in her voice that I sometimes find soulless, not exceptional. The excellent production really saves the fact that her voice irritates me. Melodrama I did not manage to enter. I want to love but I can't. The cover of SP appealed to me, I find it quite vulgar but surprising coming from her who has never taken this kind of photos. I'm going to listen to her next record but I find that Lorde is overpriced like Billie Eillish, we do too much with her, she does not have an extraordinary universe that stands out from the others but that's only my opinion.
  16. The Venus Fly Trap video is one of her best. She is beautiful, the clip is short but there is so much going on that you can't get bored! The song is not one of my favorites, but the title is really good and goes very well with the rest of the album. This way of rising from the ashes, Marina did. You couldn't ask for more. It is perfect for the retro and modern atmosphere! Let's move on to the album that is FINALLY released today. So what can I say, unsurprisingly I knew this album would be very good and it is. I am so happy to find her again, the effort she has made for us is incredible. We go through all of Marina's phases here: happy, committed, neon, a little rocker, melancholic, light, sad and perfectionist. She lives in California but she will always remain that colorful and original little englishwoman who conquered us over 10 years ago, notice here. I would like to underline the excellent production of each track, chosen, rearranged, we feel that she has put her heart, time and pride into this record in which no track is to be thrown away. FROOT's little sister. And thank you for incorporating beautiful guitars, bass, to believe that in 2021 there are no more instruments in pop music. My only complaints will be its length and the number of songs (too short) but the most perfect albums are also the shortest aren't they? The lyrics sometimes wobbly but I don't blame her for that because we know that she has changed since L + F, she continues to be consistent in her work as an artist and that is what matters most. The lyrics about her breakup are heartbreaking, when we know she struggled to save Goodbye The quality is at the rendezvous and it did not disappoint us. I like this way of taking a step back and listening to the opinions of the fans to improve and give everything. My new favorite song here is I love you ... it's really a Marina that reminds me of I'm a ruin that touched me so much in 2015, it's a pretty sad feeling that I have with that. Everything is perfect here. Probably the best album of this year, she did a good job. If Lana could be this passionate and enthusiastic but I wouldn't cry if she released a boring record, Marina is there.
  17. I also noticed... I doubt she ever got engaged. It was just rumors
  18. I love when she goes out with her dad, she is beautiful here, the glasses look good on her!
  19. I read your reviews and can't wait to listen to Friday, the album looks really good I don't doubt it
  20. Same. I was expecting 3 bloody songs about how she was treated by the media but it's not really, and I think we don't know much about this album in the end. She often changes her mind, her mind at the last moment and it could be that the theme has changed, or she puts us to sleep for and waits for the release to surprise us with titles of revenge.
  21. I totally agree with you on that. The album version is a bit empty when you listen to the dynamic verses of the demo and the so retro instrumental Lana. I listen to this version, a shame not to have put it whole in the album.
  22. A little thought for AKA, they are all above those of the Lana era for me, I really like this super intimate-motel-old man-super8 side of her old videos. Otherwise it's difficult but: • Ride (I love gas stations at night so much and the American dream of a young girl crossing the USA) • Summertime sadness (her white dress, cypress trees and iconic iPhone app) • Shade of cool (by far the most beautiful clip, the colors are really splendid here, and her cult strawberry) • Bel air (quite unknown to the general public but I really like the purity of this video, everything is perfect like Tropico) • Ultraviolence (I was really obsessed with this video so hated at the time, one of my favorite. I like this kind of video and it is iconic despite with Francesco) I would never forgive him for not doing a music video for Cola
  23. I was also following her at that time and I believe I saw it happen, I no longer have the exact memory but I would not be surprised. I think her producers cut everything to leave nothing of Lizzy.
  24. Wow I never would have thought there is a topic on it, let alone here! She never really broke but I really liked her music when I was in high school, it was fresh and fun. I never knew what became of her afterwards, and like the wave of pop / electro singers in vogue in 2010 she completely disappeared with this movement without being known to the general public. I'm happy that she is finally coming back with an album, I don't care if the sounds are dated it's really nice to find this time and see that she is fine.
