Wow wow wow do I love it. Really connect with her words about her mother, that was emotionally stunning. In my childhood, I’d beg my father to protect me from my mother, but it didn’t happen. “Ended up awkward but sweet”. That whole verse was so cathartic, and it seemed it was for many of us ? Also, the urgency in needing to control your own flame. This song was so revealing of Lana, and also made me take a soft look back at some difficult memories. All of the new songs did, in their ways. Love love seeing the continuation of her lyrical and emotional progress ? Here’s the deaalll
