I used to not at all care for Salvatore but I've been digging it lately. The sound is gorgeous, I just wish the song was better lyrically. The lyrics start off good but I can't with the "la la la la soft ice cream la la la limousines" in the chorus. Also, the way she says "can't you see you're meant for me" is beautiful. Queen of accents.

Honestly, this entire post reads like she did think you were Lana. If she actually said because of the reason that you typed out, it screams insecurity. If she understood or suspected you to be a fan, then why would it be "creepy" to follow more than one person that you like? I know another user here said that she might just be more private, but having a public profile on social media where everyone can see your posts and doing livestreams with your boyfriend who you know has a following isn't exactly private. I have a lurker account without a profile pic on instagram too and no one I'm following has said shit about it to me. The fact that she asked to follow you and then unfollowed is also bizarre. if she really thought you were just some random, she wouldn't care this much. When I was looking at Barrie's instagram a few months ago and saw that he had a new gf, I even thought to myself how hard it must be for her to know he's dated Lana Del Rey so it is understandable. She shouldn't be acting this paranoid though as it's inappropriate, unhealthy behavior. Just my two cents.

Same. I cringe the most at the lyrics but it's also boring sonically. Those lyrics are emo middle school girl's diary-tier. If he's a serial killer then what can happen to a girl who's already huuuurt I can't even handle the chorus; it's really cringey and obnoxious to my ears.

Considering she just wrote a song about him on NFR (the weather changing and Flipside references were a dead giveaway imo if London wasn't already), I wouldn't be surprised if they still talk occasionally. Before NFR was released, I personally think they have hooked up again at some point when they were both available to do so - maybe many times throughout the years. I think she had recent leftover feelings for him and possibly for each other in some way, but that's just my speculation.
