if im not mistaken a friend of mine from High School (this is like 9-10 years ago probably) asked me if I knew about this singer who has Ferreira (very common in Brazil) as surname and then I answered her that I never knew about any brazilian singer with that name (im brazilian too), and then she recommended me to listen to “Nobody Asked Me” and it was instant love to me. I was at a very pop vibe by the time so her alt/pop/rock didnt do much for me tho besides NAM and that was the only song I would listen from her until maybe 2015-ish(??). Then I researched more about her career and discovered about One (which was the pop vibe I loved and it was quite interesting for me that she tried that sound before NTMT) and then I decided to give one more chance and re-listen to her released songs and everything just clicked for me (not only with Sky but with a lot of alt/non top billboard artists). Jumping a few years later I discivered about As If! and that made me love her even more. but i remember that during tf/tfm era her leaks were constant (almost on par with the amount of leaks we would get from Kesha at the time). through the years things were getting even harder specially during artpop era where everything “stopped” like no more tf/tfm outtakes or anything related to btw. Curious tho, but tbh whatever she/her team did was the right thing, its not like we are getting Taylor Swift or Beyonce leaks all the time. Let alone the fact that hoarders help with this situation since its rare files at the end of the day

I got to know her bc of an interview with Charli but never cared to hear about her work. And then NOBTR buzz came with snippets and the song leaked and I loved it. Then I saw her thread in here popping all the time and rushed to listen to the songs, that unfortunatelly are out there, and tbh she doesnt have a bad song imo. I really hope her career is not scrapped bc shes the next pop star we need
