Lana looks so stunning in all videos and pictures that Francesco had taken. Chuck's and Charlie's photographs are nice, but Lana never really shines in them. I wish she would work with new photographers, just to change the typical glaze

I get sad every time that I listen to COCC. I listened today after not doing it for a week and it felt even sadder. The whole album seems like a farewell. Thinking that she might give up singing in the future crushes my heart and takes any pleasure that I could have with her music

I dreamed that Lana was in a recording studio. She was singing Gods and Monsters. The lyrics of the song were on the paper on a table in front of her (she was sitting in front of a desk). A paper with the lyrics from TNBAR was also there. The only light from the room was from the candles. She had roses petals covering the table and cockroaches were walking around it and on the papers. The room was smelling like honey. It was so weird and haunting

The problem with criticism/censorship is that even if you don't intend to when you live around it, you absorb it and it reflects in your work. Lana reads a lot of what people are thinking and saying about her. Even if she wants to come back to old concepts, it wouldn't be the same. She probably second-guesses a lot of some of her songs and decides to change or scrap. I also believe that one of the reasons why she loves her poetry books so much is that she can be free there. People were way less judgmental of her poems than they are with her songs. I wouldn't be surprised if in a few years she decides to completely retire from music and only focus on her writing. She always wanted to write anyway...
