I really would like to see again that movie-like world you are talking about as well . That’s why i think that the next album should be more experimental with a variety of instrumentation , something that it’s a little bit out of her comfort zone compared to the last 2 albums . Even though i really enjoyed many songs from her last two releases i think that a similar release ( sound-wise ) would be a little bit disappointing to me at least, because i know her capabilities as an artist and how versatile she can be . Also i never understood the correlation between the maturity and sound argument . The genre of music you are exploring or the thematics you are talking about in your songs are not indicators of maturity ,for me at least, so i totally agree with what you are saying.

What was your reaction of the BTD to UV transition?
Deadly Nightshade replied to Honeyyoung's topic in Lana Thoughts
BtD was my pre-teens album and it suited that period perfectly . When i entered my teens i started listening to more alt and rock music . So when I found out about WC I was left speechless . I still believe that it is if not the best one of her most well crafted songs . Mainstream artists could only dream of making that song in that period . After that song I was pretty sure that the album would be a masterpiece . I used to listen to the entire album multiple times a day and really appreciate it’s greatness during my summer holidays . From the imagery to the music everything was so spot on. She was unstoppable in that period . I still believe that she has to revisit the genre and expand that soundscape because it definitely suits her so much . -
BTD deserves a 10th anniversary edition

Songs that could've been perfect but aren't due to...
Deadly Nightshade replied to YourGirl666's topic in Lana Thoughts
It might be an unpopular opinion but i can't understand the hype behind venice bitch. It has a lot of potential but i think that it lacks a bit a of punch/dynamic in the production. I don't know how to explain it properly but so many people describe it as being experimental / psychedelic ( if i am not being wrong ) but i can't seem to pinpoint where exactly are these characteristics. Just my opinion though , so many people seem to like it and seems to be one of the most liked songs from NFR! so who am i to judge -
How Would You Rank Each Version Of Yayo?
Deadly Nightshade replied to Dark Angel's topic in Lana Thoughts
This is the version I've been listening for many years as well and it has to be my favorite . Also I love the picture they chose One of her best songs. It encapsulates so well that specific period of her life
