I saw this on TikTok and I came RUNNING. Idk if this has been asked but if you had to compare the tracks you've heard to any previous albums of hers, which ones would it be? Is it really a Southern Gothic vibe that made these songs sound an unique addition to her catalog? Or is it familiar territory for her aka similar to her post NFR work? I always believe these sources until proven false haha.

I understand the complaints about the mixing but the back and forth between them singing Guess truly made Billie’s verse work overall. The video is hot! Truly the AOTY.

I've been revisiting Chemtrails lately and it's hitting as hard if not harder than that summer of 2021. It's one of her best albums, it's probably the most sonically cohesive after Honeymoon and it contains some of the most unique and intriguing songwriting she's ever done. White Dress? Tulsa Jesus Freak? Title track? Dark But Just a Game? Dance Till We Die? Wild At Heart? Yes this album eats I'd love Lasso to be a Chemtrails 2.0 in terms of lyricism approach - the way she tackled some subjects with such tenderness and simplicity is a songwriting feat in and of itself.

I’m stoned listening to this right now. What a phenomenal track. I think she says “I like living here!” at the end, no? That’s how I always heard it.

It’s honestly such a turn off that even a place like this fosters fatphobia/body shaming towards the very artist this entire website revolves around. I still can’t wrap my mind around this.
