  1. i’m listening to Lust For Life to manifest mystic, earthy, mother nature vibes for this outfit
  2. when this Met Gala has Lana writing Dark But Just A Game (Reprise) then what
  3. This but with Aaron Taylor Johnson. Anyways where are you Lanaaaa
  4. Everytime she goes blonde, the world shifts. Whew.
  5. As for the men, I highly doubt those two I mentioned are going the suit & tie route. But yeah expect men to show up with floral themed suits AND ties lol. I hope Jared Leto doesn't go this year.
  6. Yeah, I think for me sometimes I don’t connect with her acting style but overall she ranges from decent to amazing to me and I think she will most likely get better and better with age. She’s very young still. I don’t get why we should single Zendaya out when Chris Hemsworth is right there. Talk about random.
  7. I’m very interested to know what Josh O’Connor and Bad Bunny are going to wear. They’re obviously very stylish but it’s hard for me to project this theme onto men. Have no idea what to expect from them.
  8. Zendaya’s acting might not be consistently incredible or revolutionary but when she has material that plays to her strengths, she’s pretty spectacular (see: most of Challenhers, that one episode in the second season of Euphoria, some scenes in Malcolm & Marie). Saying she can’t act at all is a bit of a reach, in my opinion of course. Fashion-wise, I think she’s pretty much the best one out there right now, maybe behind Rihanna. Her best fashion moments are pure artistry - a lot of credit has to go to the fashion designers and ofc Law Roach - and she seems to be passionate about the things she does. Her venturing into producing is also a good career move and she seems to enjoy it and be competent at it. I’m not a Zendaya stan by any means but I like it that she exists and it’s very hard to argue with her Joan D’Arc moment at the MET Gala. Her being a co-chair is kind of obvious to me.
  9. I was thinking about this the other day. They need to collab.

    Taylor Swift

I truly dislike this album but My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys is a major banger.
  11. I’m very happy she decided to maintain the new hair. Suits her so well!
  12. oh Let The Light In the hit that you are

    Charli XCX

    These are fucking incredible.
  15. Is Country Roads technically the lead single or not really?
  16. Thank you guys 😭 I’ll also be able to talk to Mitski, SZA, Arca, Ethel Cain, PJ Harvey and Eartheater but right now I’m focusing on Lana!
  17. So… I have this new job in Portugal’s only totally public media channel and I specially work in one of the channel’s sub-channel that exclusively transmits content and projects directly tied with scenic arts: concerts, operas, etc etc. This summer our channel finally got the rights to have backstage access and be able to produce interviews and original formats and concepts in Primavera Sound… where Lana is performing 😭 not only do I have full backstage access but I also will be able to talk with her/perhaps do a little interview of sorts!!! I still can’t process this and I need y’all help to prepare good questions so I don’t repeat whatever that girl from the Blue Banisters IG live did when she had permission from Lana to ask anything and she asked if she said “whore” in Pretty When You Cry
  18. Blonde Lana = Lizzy Grant, that post-AOTY loss in 2020, pandemic, recording insta stories while driving recklessly, Chemtrails creation, QFTC… whenever she gets blonde, herstory is made
  19. Blonde Lana always hits different. She looks amazing.
  20. Country is a very encompassing genre. There are subgenres within it. I don’t think Lana’s approach will be anything like Beyoncé’s: the former will most likely follow the Tammy Wynette/Loretta Lynn/Patsy Cline/Crystal Gayle country route while Beyoncé opted for something different.
  21. There’s a review somewhere that reflects my feelings better than I can: “ There’s no question that Cowboy Carter is a landmark record. Arguably, an inevitable one. But once the dust of its audacity settles, it misses the mark of a classic”. I think it lacks some trimming and I’m still iffy on some of its politics and angles, namely the Jolene lyric changes to a version that’s thematically so pick-me and women blaming, but overall it’s a fun experience. It’s just not interesting enough to bear repeated listens, to me at least. It’s not a coincidence that my favorite tracks are the ones that experiment with genre bending and clashing (Sweet Honey Buckin’, Spaghetti, Tyrant) while everytime Beyoncé dabbles with traditional country, it feels often phony. Already looking forward for Act III and all of its rock n’roll extravaganza, which I feel is better suited for a billionaire musician as opposed to a genre so rooted in rural and working class (and yes, black!) culture - something that Beyoncé can’t quite emulate without bordering on temporary cosplay.
