Israel's genocide of Palestinians and war on the Middle East
bluechemtrails replied to Ultra Violet's topic in World News
May I remind you that this ominous letter contained nothing more than a plea for the release of the hostages? Many have still not been freed and some have even died in captivity. You are not a Zionist just because you support the lives of innocent hostages. -

I think it's quite good that she is holding back politically, something like that can also backfire I mean, she's not like Nikki Haley who wrote “Finish them” on Israeli bullets.... -
oh please... her hairstylist gave support, if it makes you feel better https://www.instagram.com/stories/annacofone/3378136081968132241/

Wasn't there another “insider” who mentioned June 20 (the date of the show in Boston)? Perhaps they are all spreading the same misinformation.

I don't think it's so much about the genre itself, but what you make of it. For example, Taylor and Lana both made folk albums (almost at the same time), but Folklore was somehow much more successful than COTCC, both with listeners and critics, and I think the fans were also skeptical at the beginning whether it would work out.

Lana's Aligned Stars Shine Over (us)

the opposite for me, I really like how the good chemistry between them has been captured forever, it's a unique moment and it lightens up the album a bit

I never had issues with Kintsugi, the song is still perfect for me the only song from OB that had flaws for me was Margaret

Chocolat (2000), with one of my favorite actresses Juliette Binoche and young Johnny Depp I couldn't resist having a hot chocolate while watching

She literally said that the album could sound like American Songbook, and Blue Skies would fit well into that genre, I even suspect that the song was originally intended for American Standards & Classics, so yes, the album could very well sound like that.
-
the way she went from American Standard & Classics to Country and now back to the original concept
-
oh wait, she said more in that NME interview? https://www.nme.com/news/music/lana-del-rey-interview-lasso-ivor-novellos-country-reading-leeds-3759161 "Are the lyrics of ‘Lasso’ inspired by that same sense of ease, fun and comfort she’s been talking about today? “Yes, I’d say so,” Del Rey offered. “I’ve maybe less to say in terms of any self-revealing things like on ‘Tunnel’ or ‘Blue Bannisters’ or ‘Chemtrails Over The Country Club’, and just more melodic. Maybe more American Songbook style?”"
-
She could have simply said: "I don't want to talk about it yet, but it's coming this year" but she was more like "country was a good idea at the time, but somehow things have changed now"
-
Honestly, this whole "the music business is going country, we're going country" thing was kind of strange because other big artists like Taylor or Billie didn't care and they're still topping the charts. Lana should just do her own thing and ignore what may or may not be trendy at the moment.
