actually, we don't know the real reason for the blocking it's not the video she commented on, it was another one that has now been deleted
-
Maybe the video is a bit deceptive because people are cheering right in front of the camera. Lana might have perceived it differently from her position. In addition, people today seem to take everything very precisely and insist on details and no longer understand the basic idea.

there must have been another video as the reason for the blocking, because this one was not deleted https://www.instagram.com/p/DA1vHEDio-L/

Lana Del Rey and Quavo “Tough” - OUT NOW!
bluechemtrails replied to rocknrollgroupie's topic in New Releases
well, the "success" of tough is not surprising, if you consider that it was almost her only released song this year a&w didn't had a video and is much longer, so it's not optimized for streaming compare it to margaret and let the light in, which were just album songs. tough will drop back into the daily streams in a few weeks. -
I don't like it when Lana is portrayed as a liar, she has the right to defend herself and make things clear. If only 8 out of 5000 people cheer, the overall impression can still be as she described.
-
she used a lot of dirty tricks to become famous, and still does today
-
the two "singles" are two tough remixes, so only one is left

desire, i want to turn into you - caroline polachek melodrama - lorde brat - charli xcx only god was above us - vampire weekend prelude to ecstasy - the last dinner party daddy's home - st. vincent i can't let go - suki waterhouse many lana albums come close to a 10/10, but there is always a small flaw that makes it a 9.5 at best

would be a big surprise if it won record or song of the year, because it doesn't appear in the predictions: https://variety.com/2024/music/news/grammy-nominations-predictions-beyonce-taylor-swift-billie-eilish-chappell-roan-1236168408/ https://www.goldderby.com/gallery/2025-grammy-predictions-record-of-the-year/ https://www.goldderby.com/gallery/2025-grammy-predictions-song-of-the-year/

There are not many artists who have made a decade song like Video Games, it was an extraordinary piece of work. Her next decade song will be A&W, but we still have five years before the lists are released. NFR (which is also a decade album) had a lot of remarkable songs, White Dress and Chemtrails were also critically acclaimed. We shouldn't forget that her work is at a very high level. I'm curious to see how the journey continues, the next album will certainly be exciting.

it looks like to have a very scenic character, maybe she's still looking for lasso inspiration https://mccrearycounty.com/ -
Best Rap Song Best Melodic Rap Performance The only promising category would have been that of a duo, but exactly such is not included.

I think the album will still be country at its core because she's signed up for this country festival in spring.

I like their video aesthetics

Lana Del Rey and Quavo “Tough” - OUT NOW!

I think bad remixes are created on purpose. It's all about bringing the original song back up in streaming algorithms, but people aren't supposed to enjoy the remix. -

I'm not sure, but the name "Lasso" could possibly be a reference to the country rock album title Lasso from El Paso by Kinky Friedman. It's connected to Bob Dylan and some other known artists like Eric Clapton and Ringo Starr. The album was recorded at Shangri-La studios in Malibu, where also the vocals for Ride were recorded.

She can accept the criticism, but it certainly doesn't change her love for her newly married husband. What do her fans expect?

as much as I like the singer, but the chorus doesn't work for me
