Do we think this is another Twice/Bands In Town situation where the live version is a more stripped edit of the album version? It sounds like she's referencing "It's Okay To Cry" lyrically and sonically. I'd love for the album version to have the song to explode at the end, just like IOTC. 
And I love that two of her songs about SOPHIE/grief have had live debuts. Makes it soo special to hear the songs for the first time with Charli's live vocals

I would like it if we got another single around the time the Boiler Room set is uploaded. Atlantic has to know that fans will be replaying the live versions, why not release 1 (or 2 ) of the new songs to generate more hype and get more streams? But I believe if it's a good idea, then Atlantic won't do it

Correct. And if we really wanna dig and get referential, there's plenty of songs I can scrape up from the 90s and 2000's where it's really just 1 lyric, 1 chorus, maybe a little ad-lib vocal moment during a dance break, repeat 2x, end. Quite a few of those songs in the 2-minute range as well.
 

Yeah. I *would* like there to be some fully fleshed out "Charli" material on the album, but if she's sticking to her inspiration, it's gonna be short and repetitive, which I'm fine with. It's just a mindset thing, which really shouldn't be anything new for us.
 
We have emotional Charli, and we have throwaway pop-trash Charli. We're just used to having both on the same record, and this time it may not be the case.

I think you should temper this expectation now or this album will disappoint you. She keeps telling us this is a club album. Club music is by nature minimal and repetitive. There might be 2-3 "bridges" on the entire album. Most songs will probably only have 1 verse... This is not a pop album, which means she is not even attempting to make fleshed out pop songs. The sooner everyone gets on board with the new song structures (or the lack thereof) the sooner you'll start appreciating the songs for what they are.

Disagree. The whole point of the cover is that its supposed to convey low effort. Purposefully putting all of these details into it to force a "careless" aesthetic is infact the opposite, its really tryhard.
 
Although yes I do think its funny she has an entire glamor photoshoot inside the vinyl and even picture discs its like she feels she needs to "make up for" the cover being basic to make the vinyl "worth it" which defeats the purpose. But really, at the end of the day, this is a product: a club record. So maybe the 'story' and 'vibe' of the record is that careless aesthetic but its very clear everything is methodical so just let the cover influence the fantasy and not take it seriously, imo.

What's up with the Girl haters? OK they don't like a song I personally adore, I get it. But it seems like they have already completely written Girl off. As if the possibility one or more of the amazing producers she worked with, took the song and immaculately produced the final version does not exist lmao.
 
Anyways Charlotte did the right thing by putting it on the album. Whether you like it or not that song seems to be very important to her. For what other reason would she make 2 whole posts about it on 360brat?

Atlantic seems to be replicating the Crash rollout, so hopefully it won't be long before the second single gets announced. Hopefully we won't have to get through another month of painful teasing as well. 

I gave in the city another listen and it now being sandwiched between speed drive and von dutch it feels like an even weirder choice to release. 

addison rae should have been in the speed drive video instead, and i think she should have given in the city as a pitch song to someone else. which knowing Charli’s luck would have meant the song blowing up
