I read under some yt Ocean Blvd reaction that this album plays like an actual tunnel and it's bright at the beginning but getting darker and darker. But then, in fact she "Let the light in" also the fact that the original Tunnel is leading to the beach and she ended album with x VB It really made me think.... wish she would talk about it more.

I was thinking about it while listening to Paradise EP every day lately. I actually really like her diary-entry lyrics now way more than in NFR/COCC times. Her honesty really hits me hard. BUT for real speaking of Paradise's lyrics... There are lots of allegories, symbolism and hidden meanings which allows you to interpret it in your own way. She was inspired by Whitman's poetry wich is way more interesting than Jenny jumping into the pool sorry And speaking of Jessica Lange's Gods and Monsters I love it. Some of you don't realize that she was playing a German woman in the 50s and this song suits her story well. I really appreciate her accent, she did a really good job.

I've listened to Gods and Monsters after a long time and oh god I bet you know the feeling when something suddenly hit you out of nowhere. I think it might be about SA.. the way she sings Me and God we don't get along so now I sing.. no one's gonna take my soul away.. and then God's dead, I said baby that's alright with me like... if you know you know what she meant 'Innocence's lost' hits different after 10 years. I feel like she also hinted this topic on The Blackest Day especially when she sings 'Getting darker and darker looking for love in all the wrong places' like yep girl you got me

do you think an "unreleased" album would be a good idea
bluedealer replied to Raise Me Up's topic in Lana Thoughts
if she released an EP with some viral songs it would be another 1# album or flop (because people already had it for years). It's really interesting. We will see what happens with SYTH soon -

I feel like she is kinda forced to release the unreleased album. Even with SYTH, it doesn't seem like she really really wanted to release it, more like they were sick of it trending everywhere without any profit. She knows there are hundreds of her songs on the internet so probably she doesn't care about money but she should get that coins. I really don't know -

It is a good idea but on the other hand there are so many unreleased songs it may end up messy -
omg is it coming tomorrow?

tbh I'm scared she'll be announced in my country bc I'm too poor right now I hate the fact that some festivals announce artists partly, not all at once... and then the tickets are more expensive

Even Margaret started growing on me I really love the run from the stars to Paris, Texas... especially the way A&W ends and the creepy eerie vibe begins with Judah Interlude. It feels like Grandfather is an opener/closer in a half. And the ending with these bops?? The high pitched 'lalala' in x VB sounds so fucking fresh Never thought I needed Lana's hyperpop era. I can't say it's my favourite album because it's too early yet. It's funny cuz I wasn't sure about UV when it dropped bc it was so different from what I had used to hear and now UV is still my top1. Listening to those recent leaks (especially Summertime cover) reminded me that there's something about UV era that will always be special for me. Yet still Ocean Blvd made me feel things on so many different levels... it's like growing up with her and her music and now you wake up not being teenager anymore and she's singing about death again but not 'i wish i was dead' but like you really care for yourself and your closest people and you're really worried about death and not being loved it's definitely one of her best album

Do we know anything about early West Coast version(s)? I might be wrong but I think I read that there's like 30 version of it somewhere 💀 and most of them sounds nothing like the one we already have. Is there even a snippet? I'm really curious I still remember that muted video of her swinging in room

I have the same feelings like it's more Jack song than Lana song and I don't like it It feels like you're opening up to someone, pouring you heart out and then comes jack stealing your spotlight singing about his wife-to-be. It doesn't belong to DYK for me To all the people who are coming for me - It's a very cute song tho!! but I really wish it was actually released later, maybe around December 18 as a gift for them.

Kintsugi doesn't even feel like it 6+ minutes long. Beautiful track I wasn't fan of Paris Texas but now it just hit me out of nowhere Margaret is still a skip it is okay but it would suit COCC better like instead of For Free? It is really impressive that everyone has different opinion. Her power I fear
