self titled has very high highs, some of my fav songs of her, but as a body of work it's really at the bottom for me. It feels like a playlist. Still higher than SUCKER tho, even though I do like SUCKER (& it's also more cohesive than selt titled). She has no bad albums tbh.

Okay, this is a solid 8/10 album for me. She didn't disappoint, not a single bad song. Beg for you and Yuck are the weakest imo. However, LIGHTNING!!!!! Holy sh!t i didn't expect that one. Such a bop and needs a release like now. Lightning, Constant Repeat, and Baby are my top 3 for the album right now. 

Sometimes I think some of her fans are actually just SOPHIE & AG fans who just see her as a vessel for those two's songs which is why theyre comfortable being so disrespectful and foul to her online.

can we acknowledge how great Charli is at opening tracks on her albums 
nuclear seasons, sucker, next level charli, pink diamond, crash 
they all set the tone for each album perfectly 

I love all those songs and agree but I do think her album openers do more for setting the tone 

it’s like if under the sea & warm had a baby.. 

imagine a lightnight MV.... with charli dancing seductively on a car in the rain... getting struck by lighting at the outro

i love that she brought the “talk singing” back in for example the title track if y’all know what i mean (true romance style)

one thing is clear: charli will always murder the opening track  

Not seeing enough love for Move Me  the way it could easily fit onto xcx world but also has true romance vibes, the chopped vocals in the last chorus, the delay in the beat dropping. Just absolute pop perfection 

i decided to take a break from the forum so i missed ALL the album rollout and the releases of the singles, but i'm happy to comeback with the album illegal arrival

don't wanna keep it on repeat until the offical release but it's such a GOOD album and a formidable goodbye from Atlantic, i wish nothing but the best for Charli
it's so solid, so bright, so beautiful and full of some of her best songs until this day

besides Baby and Good For You that i love for life, my heart is with Constant Repeat, Lightning and Used to Know Me, but every song it's great and it's meant to be on the album, the tracklist is her most well adjusted!! really curious to hear the deluxe tracks and see how it fits
ALSO............. Twice is her most cute song forever, what a great ending
