  1. Just gave a listen; honestly really good and a true remix album. I agree the track listing could've been different but I'm digging a lot of these. Favs after first listen: Club classics, Sympathy, B2B, 365, Everything is romantic, Mean Girls, and I think about it all the time. I definitely need to listen with lyrics in front of me once they're available because some of the features are hard to make out lololol
  2. I'm a CRASH apologist, but I listened to the deluxe full through today for the first time in a while and goddamn that shit is fresh! What a great era. I get that Charli has definitely played with genre throughout her career but she has such a personality/delivery that makes her songs so unique whether it's a basic pop song or more experimental. Charli's a whole genre unto herself, I could give a fuck if she'd listen to it herself.
  3. I keep seeing people use the "there's three" screenshot and assuming we're gonna get 3 remixes over how ever many weeks but wasn't that just left over from painting over the "brat and it's the same but there's three more tracks so it's not" mural? I don't think it was a clue or has any significance
  4. Revisiting Crash and people really love to complain about the Yuck video never happening as if she didn't give us 6 music videos that era
  5. Girl, so confusing is so obviously about Lorde I feel like I lose a brain cell anytime I see someone try to say it's Marina. Charli and Lorde are friendly with each other, she's played up the Lorde comparison as a "joke" for so long, and recently talked about feeling strange about them not collabing despite both saying they want to. "But Lorde praised the album!" Yeah, almost like the song is about Charli's own insecurities and not a direct diss at Lorde. I have no doubt they had a conversation about the song before it was released. Plus Charli answered a question on whether her & Marina are friends on 360_brat in 2023: ❝ no [we're not friends] but it's not like DEEP or anything, there's no negativity in my opinion, our worlds just don't cross. I will say I DID feel negatively years later because I just felt like I really looked up to her and almost saw her as a role model in a way,* and when she publicly put me on blast via subtweet I was honestly really hurt and upset and confused and all the fans were coming for me and everything. And I just thought we were friends so maybe she could have like, texted me or something ? So I just felt like she knew she was sending people to "get me" online and as someone I looked up to I just thought that was really a mean thing to do at the time. Now I'm just like lol the whole thing is so funny like as if there was a beef over lemons. Pahaahha"
  6. I'm so used to the sped-up Boiler Room edit of Spring Breakers, the slower version is so foreign to me Where would you place it in the tracklist?
  7. 1. BRAT 2. How I'm Feeling Now 3. CRASH 4. Pop 2 5. Vroom Vroom 6. No.1Angel 7. SUCKER 8. True Romance 9. Charli
  8. She mentioned a full remix album on La Culturistas. Wasn't total confirmation but definitely seems like it's in the works. Also, the girl who started the brat deluxe leaked craze on twitter is the same girl who posted the video of Charli driving in her car blasting Von Dutch at the beginning of the promo cycle. Deluxe hasn't leaked but her team knows what they're doing
  9. Goddamn, I do not get anyone's disappointment over this record. It's one of her absolute best, imo. Sympathy is a knife, Talk talk, Everything is romantic, Rewind, Apple, Mean girls, 365 are absolute bliss. It's also her most mature record from content to production. Did people really only hear "club album!" in the promo cycle and not "conversational, introspective, minimalist pop, 3-4 sounds" etc? The boiler room set is fun, but it's just that....a DJ set. I would've been disappointed if the album was exactly what we heard there. Plus the actual songs are more successful than a lot of the Boiler Room mixes to me.
  10. I really love Charli's more "hypnotic" or "mantra"-esque music where she repeats lyrics ad nauseam or the production is just a couple of sounds looping so I'm living for this record so far. It also fits so well with the brat theme, and it really all clicked for me with the 360 video. I live for so many of the girls that fit that irreverent it girl archetype, but it does come with a bit of an "in" crowd. You have to be in the right pockets of the internet to know who most of those girls are, but once you're there it becomes this echo-chamber of praise: MOTHER! ICONIC! SO UNSERIOUS! OBSESSED WITH HER!. You have to "drink the kool aid" so to speak and any rando who stumbles in to comment something like "who is this weird person" is usually met with rage or how dare you, and I feel like she recreated that sort of reaction with the album cover. "The girls that get it, get it" personified and then weaponized. All the singles sounds like this to me: Sorry for the think piece, but all that to say, I love the concept and execution of this era so far.
  11. Most of the venues she sold out today are around 2k-3k capacity. Any of the venues that are 5k are flex spaces, meaning the space CAN hold up to 5k but does not necessarily mean that's how many tickets were on sale. I agree I think they could do smaller arenas, but they won't be playing MSG or anything like that. It's also smarter to play smaller venues that will be guaranteed to sell out with the option of adding extra dates as opposed to single date arenas they have to push to fill IMO.
  12. Even if it's a joint tour with Troye, I still don't see them playing arenas. Probably big theatres like Radio City Musical Hall (6,000 cap.) at best. Charli and Troye can not move 20,000 tickets a night in multiple cities.
  13. Everyone is taking these tweets really seriously, and I'm like 95% percent sure it's a stunt. From the era kicking off with a list of ridiculous PR tactics she should try, to the tiktok of someone bashing her head against a sink because she's "tweeting" again that's posted days before she tweets this. If the album rollout is going to be long, she needs ways to keep her name in the conversation, and sharing a series of "hot takes" that centers around her album cover, where every post is getting 1.5 million views within a few hours is a pretty smart way to do that. I think Charli can be a lot, but I also think she's a bit more self aware than most people assume. People put too much stock into "will this controversy hurt her?" when controversy is currency in today's music landscape, especially when most of today's audience has the attention span of a goldfish. By the time the album comes out it'll end up being "She's a bit cringe/annoying but the album slaps", etc.
  14. Can someone point me in the direction of the Hot In It leak? I've checked all my normal sites and can only find the snippet.
