Does anyone have his exact quote? Cause if he said there were 40 songs recorded, it doesn’t mean that the double album would include all of them
I feel like there was a misunderstanding cause some of you guys literally think the double album would include 40 songs which I highly doubt

Since pretty much no one mentioned it… Back to the Basics. Such a vintage bop

So NFR was titled Bird World in the beginning of developing the album with these piano songs, but also we know that Lana and Jack made “club” songs during the recording process (Jimmy and VB being of them). Were they just experimenting with the sound or they wanted to change direction for the album at one point?

What? Her last three albums are her best albums. Spaceship, Shadow, Fine Line are her career peaks

Oh thank you so much!!! So the songs you listed were recorded in 2018-2019?
I also googled the merch she sold during the Last Hurrah era and there’s a t-shirt with the “TRUST ISSUES” text on it, could be a title of an unleaked song?

Isn’t it the album that she scrapped in place of Better Mistakes, where the lead single was supposed to be Last Hurrah?

I think so!! Although ultimately everything that was meant for Better Mistakes was finished in 2019. She said that the album was completed back then so everything that made the cut is also from that time.
Perhaps. I don't recall a song with that title being registered but I guess it's possible it references a song that remains unleaked.
// Sorry for the off topic deviation y'all

I'm not 100% sure but I think these were the most likely = some of the earliest sessions for a second album?
Last Hurrah (single) Not 20 Anymore (single) California (lyrically it fits, don't recall if it was teased early on) Rose with Thorns (teased early on) Neighbors in Heaven (unleaked; iirc teased early on) Alcohol (unleaked; iirc teased early on) Posers (lyrically it fits) Right Here, Right Now (4 versions leaked in lossless, one featuring Saweetie) Disappointed (feat. Nick Long) [sonically it fits] When I Broke Up with You (feat. Nick Jonas) [sonically it fits] Red Lights (sonically it fits) Heaven Sent (feat. Pete Wentz) [lyrically it fits; iirc teased early on] as for the Red Tones thing, I've never heard of it lol. But I prefer the Lost Angeles concept much better.
