we’re definitely getting a new album in 2024 she always follows the 2 year pattern with the exception of reputation & folkmore since those were unique circumstances with the kayne/kim drama and then covid. debut - fearless - speak now - red - 1989 (all 2 years apart) 1989 - rep (3 years) rep - lover (back to 2 years) lover - folklore/evermore (1 year) folklore/evermore - midnights (back to 2 years) re-recordings don’t even affect this because we got fearless & red in 2021 then midnights in 2022, so the pattern will be followed again with speak now & 1989 in 2023 then a new album in 2024.

ok good for y’all…i’m happy with most of her music too but that doesn’t mean we can’t have standards. if she released an album full of hollywood bowls and beautifuls and let me love you like a womans and margaret/life lesson type songwriting i would be bored, and there’s nothing wrong with saying that. i really don’t see why we have to be at two extremes here – it shouldn’t be either criticizing everything or eating everything up. it’s normal to be in the middle and i think most of us are in that space, and we shouldn’t be shamed and constantly told “omg y’all complain about everything”, “i like everything she puts out”, “you’re being too hard on this track”, etc. you’re basically saying lana could sing “today i went to the store and bought oranges…” over 2 piano chords and you’d be happy. again good for you but most fans aren’t like this, and it’s not just lana fans it’s any fan in general. i’ve been a fan for 8 years and have her entire discography + unreleased music memorized by muscle memory. i’m not a hater or a casual fan, nor do i critique every single thing she puts out. but that doesn’t mean i don’t want music that’s above the bare minimum.

i was right about taylor’s voice on rep tv not changing that much! to me it sounds almost identical to the original unlike how in her other tvs i hear a big difference between her younger and older voice. also ppl in the comments are saying they hear a lot of differences and i cant detect much? like “i don’t like the way she says ‘do’ in the chorus”, “she doesn’t sound as angry in the bridge”, etc etc. idk i’m not noticing a lot of that but i don’t blame people for being picky because that’s exactly how i was about red tv, doesn’t compare to the original at all.

i don’t claim this energy lana changes up her sound constantly so i don’t see why it’s delulu to expect that again.

period. the producers are there to polish up a line, toss out an idea for a melody but by no means do they contribute that much to the lyrics. all of lana’s songs are 99% her words sometimes 100%. i don’t know why people want to credit men this badly as if it’s 50% lana 50% jack or 50% lana 50% rick or whoever else. with taylor she’s fully writing her songs too, even her pop hits, and again the producers will clean things up but there’s no man writing a majority of lana’s or taylor’s songs delulu thinking like you can see here taylor will have an idea for a line but maybe isn’t sure how the melody should be, then the producer helps. but they still aren’t the ones writing whole verses 💀

well right off the bat her released discography has like 130+ songs including non singles, plus there’s more than 200 unreleased songs that we know of. so yes, she has indeed wrote hundreds of songs.

yeah that’s the main thing that threw me off like wtf lana writes allll of her songs and that’s what makes her great. i can’t imagine her selling out by having someone else write pop hits for her, i would unstan so fast unholy is a trashy ass song that’s already been forgotten. unlike lana sam smith’s non singles are practically unknown. she already has a cult following and is one of the most popular musicians of this generation; her spotify daily streams are on par with taylor swift and billie eilish even though they have more radio hits than her. plus if she wanted to write another summertime sadness or young and beautiful, she could do that with ease. she’s not dumb and she knows how to write songs like that again but clearly doesn’t want to. any day she can make btd 2.0, uv 2.0, hm 2.0, etc however it’s her choice on what sound and style she wants to go for 🤷‍♀️

it really isn’t stupid it’s just not classy. you can’t tell me it’s cute to show up in a full white dress to someone’s wedding when every other guest is wearing different colors. lana’s outfit hasn’t quite crossed the line because it’s a short casual dress, there’s pink on it, and she’s wearing pink sandals. again lana didn’t make a huge mistake and margaret surely doesn’t have a problem so all’s well, but majority of brides would’ve still given her a side eye lol.

that dress is so pretty, and i think i see a baby blue bow on her hair to match that prada bag. i also love the flowers in chuck’s hair! stylish sisters

well her most recent WTF moment is calling these past few shows “the first leg of her tour” when none of had any clue that this was a proper planned tour in the first place instead of random festivals and the mexico stadium. so now we gotta have money in our bank account for when she announces more dates for the “second leg”
