lana can do anything with this album and it’s so exciting. after bb, dykttatuob made sense, it was a logical transition. still kept a piano-heavy sound with similar songwriting style, though with more experimentation and different genres. now with ldr10 she can go anywhere…dykttatuob has a lot of variety after all. more dark sounds like a&w or candy necklace. more trap like peppers or fishtail. more acoustic songs like let the light in. or go in a completely different direction and do country. who knows. i will say though, i just want it to be cohesive. dykttatuob feels a bit messy to me because it’s everything in one album, so there’s a lot of hits but also a lot of skips. i want the next album to stick to a sound/genre – with variety of course but not like how dykttatuob was trap bops mixed with sentimental ballads mixed with a pastor yelling mixed with a grungy guitar song. very all over the place and made the album not age well for me. looking back at btd, hm, uv, and nfr i really love how they had a certain sound throughout and they were polished overall.

she means that it is bittersweet – • “now my life is sweet like cinnamon, like a fucking dream i’m living in” has a sarcastic tone. fame isn’t so sweet for her especially if she’s only loved for being on the radio instead of who she is. • “cinnamon in my teeth, from your kiss” refers to unhealthy, conflicting love. the song talks about taking pills and being mad, but also about the possibility of being loved and held instead of hurt. it’s one of those words/phrases like “blue” or “dripping peaches” that has its own meaning to lana and the abstract world she has created through her music.

to me cacciatore makes more sense because it means ‘hunter’, so it fits in with the glamorous tone of this song – a man with a hunter-like disposition/appearance that she’s dying by the hands of. also salvatore means ‘savior’ which creates an interesting juxtaposition to this man. hunter & limousines vs savior & soft ice cream (rich & alluring vs romantic & sweet). i don’t think football has anything to do with this song especially if it’s about francesco.

the thing is she hasn’t interacted with him AT ALL they follow each other but she hasn’t commented/liked on any of his posts about her or replied to/liked his comment on her post.

ugh i just don’t like pop rock and i’ve been like this since i was little i find it to be boring noise music. the lyrics are also very teeny bopper which isn’t my thing at all. olivia rodrigo is officially not for me, but if you like 2000s edgy teen pop rock with touches of dream pop and shoe gaze, you’ll love this album.

it’s out at midnight local time, so you can change your location to new zealand thru a vpn in order to listen to it early. (this is why i don’t understand why some artists release their music in local time, it feels disorganized and everyone is listening to it at different times. plus those ppl that have it early can just leak it to everyone else)

what genres are you interested in? i could try to recommend some shorter/faster paced books. edit: also what books have you liked before?

i prefer digital books (ie kindle) to physical ones. they’re easier to hold, and i like to lay down while i read. if it gets dark i don’t need to turn any lights on. you can also do a lot more things, like hold down a word to see its definition or change the font and size. i only buy physical books if they’re all time favorites or nonfictions that i want to reference again. otherwise i’m saving money and shelf space. the only time i buy books physically before reading them first is if i feel that’s necessary - typically for really long books or ones that have a lot of illustrations and stuff.

i don’t think it’s any kind of email app, it’s the same situation as the twitter trending page where the whole page will become the keyboard if you search for something. the most likely thing is the voice recording app and she was editing the title of something. in which case…someone needs to decipher those titles asap could be new songs
