Red Moon In Venus I really only enjoyed Lana, Mitski, and Kali but the rest are basically all the other albums I listened to lol. Kali and Lana really carried the first half of the year for me.

Well yes. I’m convinced people hate Jack mainly because of Blue Banisters…which he didn’t produce. Chemtrails was kinda flop era for them but they still made Tulsa and Chemtrails title track. Norman and Ocean are both masterpieces so Jack deserves a little more credit

Either way my point still stands that she will probably turn out something more interesting than just some standard country songs

I mean- I don’t think this album is going to be pop or anything but I think it is going to be like a post LFL era situation where she talked about doing a more folky EP but then the next project we received from her was a 10 minute psychedelic surf rock song with folky undertones. Overtime her ideas develop into more complicated and complete concepts. So I think we are just going to see some sort of take on standard classic country with a Lana twist.

Yeah, she definitely started teasing/showing the Ocean Blvd aesthetic almost a year before the album was announced, with all the bra/boob pics, bows, white and black W Mag shoot, Lanita bracelet, etc. She might be started to conceptualize a new era or is feeling inspired

Interesting that she used Blinding Lights and recently spoke about talking to The Weeknd, I know I’m being so delusional but I hope we get a collab on his next record. I know all those recent rumors have no validity but regardless I feel like there is a slight chance we might get another song🙏
