I actually agree. Courtney is definitely a give no fucks type person but I think she also knows what is controversial and gets clicks. She can have an opinion about Lana without stating it but she did so she clearly wanted people to know about her thoughts.

Courtney is obviously just jealous that Lana has found such success doing something Courtney has been trying to do since the early 90s. Idk why she is choosing to publicly declare it in this way, it comes off as very immature and disrespectful. And telling someone they need to take 7 years off is a bold move for someone who has a blurry profile picture on Spotify😭 Don’t get me wrong tho I LOVE Courtney and if the music is inspired by Lana I’m even more excited for the record… Btw Take Me Home outsold and out streamed LITERALLY every single solo song Courtney has ever done (Not that streams matter) Also didn’t Courtney take credit for exposing Lana to Joni??? So why would Courtney suddenly dislike Lana doing her own interpretation of a country/folk classic

The way I’ve done a full 180 on this performance. It was disappointing last night but it is actually quite iconic. She looked gorgeous, the hologram was weird but cool, the Billie moment was sweet, and the motorcycle entrance and exit was ICONIC If she can get the microphone together and be more confident vocally for next weekend it will be a smash And while I think Dolce is problematic, seeing her performing in a custom designer garment (for like the first time ever) was so amazing

Tbh upon rewatching it, it wasn’t nearly as bad once you know what you are in for. It is actually a nice performance
