Its good. Fall On Me is still very in line with their 80s rock influences from what I caught of it. Knife wasn't as good as Fall On Me but was still good

I was eerily anxious and restless this night before I went to bed; for some reason I couldn't sleep and although I usually surmount insomnia and wait for the morning (because it is lately so rare), I needed to take a valium pill (which I need only once or twice a year), because of the great disturbance. I dreamt of a market place, which means opulence, creativity and abundance of ideas, and on one booth, reminiscent of a fussy place in Bahnhof Zoo subway station in Berlin there were sitting and chilling two men, two young punks, which I lately realized were David and Terry. There came a beautiful, playful cat white as snow (Thin White Duke, and snow falling in the January morning Terrence commited suicide), with blocks of serene and shiny pink fur, like strawberry ice-cream (David's originality and eccentricity), and she was jumping constantly at one of the guys (David), from the ground to his lap, always gently catching and touching his nose with both of her soft pearly paws. It was as she was saying, „Come with me, don't be afraid, come, let's go!“ and her presence was of an angelic, otherwordly sort. I hope this is the omen of her being psychopomp of David's ascendance to heaven. (Strawberries symbolize feminine qualities and, therefore, David's coquetting with bisexuality and his strong and fruitful feminine side, and also, reaching the goal and coming to the end of a path – which he so gloriously accomplished in grand, royal finale).
 
Today I'll have a feast of listening the King and his avantgarde, prophetic music that influenced generations who followed his diamond, groundbreaking steps into unknown realms of wonder.

"Underwater" was definitely one she did live. I can't wait to hear it in studio quality. "Almost Over" was my favorite, and "Chimera" will blow us all away, I'm not ready.

but i did try the guestlist, and ah, it was super chill!
 
she did a sold out show for people under 18 (i'm 19 but heheheh you know), and there was like 20-30 people hoping to get a picture with her. i was standing next to the barricades and she saw me, snuck back on stage on the side, jumped off stage in front of the barricade in front of me and gave me the biggest hug in hopes that people wouldn't notice her. didn't take long before people caught us, and we were flooded with people. she got so stressed out, because she wanted to talk, but i told her to take pics with the others first. 
 
15-20 minutes later, she finally came around, i gave her a little gift and she almost got a little tearyeyed. she told me she loved me and that she wanted me to come to her show in 3-4 weeks so we could have a chat. she had to run out to her car to reach her train, but ah, she's the greatest girl in this damn industry. at least we got to talk for like 5 minutes. 

Fuck. my. pussy. UP. I don't know how I do it, but I somehow managed to win tickets to the Nobel Peace Concert, where Jay Leno is hosting. And there's gonna be performances from people like MØ, Jason Derulo, AURORA, A-ha and Kygo. Holy shit. I'm so pumped. I've wanted to see MØ live for 2 years now.

Five Grammy noms. One for Ship to Wreck, two for HBHBHB, and two for What Kind of Man. If she gets snubbed on all five, I will officially have no faith left in the Grammy awards.

I love y'all - feeling #blessed

Okay, so HOLYCHILD was kind of gaudy, but like, on purpose. Idk how I feel about them just yet haha. Their equiptment got lost between Chicago and Columbus, so they played an abridged set stripped with drums, a keyboard, and a vocal sampler. Definitely some respect for that.

ASTR was surprisingly amazing. The singer relied a lot of playback, but the music was actually really good. I gotta look into them now haha.

And then Ryn came in and blew everyone away. Her set was a lot louder than the first two, so I think I sustained some hearing damage from Pierre and OctaHate  She played every song from the album -- which totally enhanced my love for the material. Runaway WAS one of my least favorites... until I saw it live. She brings a whole new life to the material live. Her vocals are, as you imagine, amazing   And she does a lot of wild dancing/jerking/jolting like Florence does when she's in the moment on stage. 

Right before she closed with OctaHate and New Constellations, she asked us to put away our phones for a minute, turn around, and make two new friends in the crowd by introducing ourselves to one another. It was cute.
 
The meet and greet was a single-file, one-by-one sort of thing. She hugged me like six times and kept telling me I'm cute. She tried on my glasses and we had a small chat about college, my adult braces, and how she failed out of the Invsalign program. Then we took our Polaroid -- the scenario she came up with was "husband and wife" for the picture lol -- she took a million selfies with me and kissed me goodbye. She was the sweetest thing ever oh my gosh.
 

 

 

 

didn't you hear? apparently Halsey is actually the antichrist, here to take attention away from the world's one and only true gift Lana Del Rey. Halsey marks the second physical manifestation of the devil on earth, just after Lorde.

I saw her live again on Saturday, and I hung out with her alone for about half an hour after the show. She's the nicest girl. We took several selfies on her phone, and she followed me on twitter afterwards. She remembered me from the Oslo concert 5 weeks ago, and came running to hug me after she had done selfies with some people and talked to other fans for 5 mins.
 
Oh, and she told me that Demons isn't on the album, which made me quite sad. But there's 12 songs on it and 2 new songs she hasn't played live. AND it's being pressed on vinyl, which she was insanely happy about.
 
OOOHHHH, and I'm guest-listed to all of her future shows, so I can come to every concert she's playing for free. I'm so happy. I'm seeing her again on Thursday.

i got there at around 12pm (doors opened at 7) and i was number 19 in line. I was kinda to the left of the centre of the stage but it didn't matter because she constantly ran up and down the stage, spinning and dancing the entire time. i literally have no words to describe how fucking good they were. it was just so amazing and she seemed SO happy to be there she kept smiling and looked like she was gonna cry because ppl were going CRAZY for dog days and asukhvjesuyjh she's just such a fucking cutie i want to see her again

Scandi-pop at its' finest, Niki & The Dove sound like The Knife/Fever Ray but lighter, with a little Stevie Nicks.
