Alsooo there’s plenty of music made by men being misogynistic and gross yet noone says anything about it ruining their music. So why does that only apply when the roles are switched to Lana His review screams misogyny & he frankly just doesn’t get it. Just because music isn’t for you doesn’t mean it’s bad. It’s like he’s missing the whole point. Also artists are not required social justice activists. Women are allowed to express their feelings and experiences through art even the ugly parts & idk why that’s such a bad thing. I truly believe Lana’s music is the epitome of the girls that get it, get it and the girls that don’t, don’t.

This album has been hitting me so hard this year since having some family things going on. Especially since I’m unable to visit my family this holiday season, whenever I listen to specifically the grants I just start sobbing I really think people who aren’t a fan of this album just don’t get it which is fine but it’s a masterpiece and deserves to be praised

okay these are albums but: BTD/paradise- being in high school Ultraviolence- my best friend who also loves Lana Honeymoon- breakup I was going through at the time but makes me think of windy slightly cool/cold beaches. Lust for life- seeing Lana perform shortly after it was released NFR- endings. Since it came out towards the end summer before the start of my senior year of college it was a perfect portrayal of that. I think the pandemic also embodied the sense of impending doom that's in this album. Chemtrails- came out on my birthday during the pandemic Blue banisters- spending time with friends and going to a lakes/rivers Ocean blvd- spending time with family & moving somewhere new

Honestly pink friday 2 was underwhelming, which is sad bc I was actually excited for this album there’s a couple songs that id listen to again but the rest feels a bit mediocre. I do love a good sample but there’s so many that it feels overdone. OG pink friday will always be superior

This is how I feel about a lot of those artists. They’re cute and I don’t think their music is bad necessarily, it’s just not that memorable. If I heard some of those albums on the radio, I prob wouldn’t care to know what song is playing. I just can’t see a lot of their music having the same longevity that Lana’s music does. Ocean blvd, u will never be forgotten
