Our scope of time is so skewed by covid and I don't think most of us are ready to admit how old these eras and albums really are  I agree with all your LFL sentiment, LFL has aged so well (especially since it was her last classic styled album) I guess you really don't know what you have till its gone 

I agree with all this but you can't say its the best mv in recent years when its release date is closer to born to die than today 
 
ur right about it being better than anything shes released nfr and after, which is already a low bar to begin with  but I also think LFL era visuals are some of her best in her career, dunno if thats a unpopular opinion (like the album trailer hello??)

Yeah, I doubted about writing "recent" as well because it's like 8 years old but I've seen many fans categorize LFL as part of the "new Lana" so idk I just went with that  LFL visuals were indeed really beautiful and one of the career best, out of all the Rich Lee directed Lana MVs, LFL era remains the best one.

what if i say that love is lana's best music video, or at least her best music video from her recent years. because look at those aesthetics, it's like an old-school sci-fi movie, the use of black & white and then colors. it makes me wish it was an actual movie. the promotional campaign was beautiful for this.

This project is so unique. I can't find another song that sounds like American for example, even though I would like to.

Honestly I paid mostly dust to Paradise for a few years now except for a few songs like Ride, Gods & Monsters,and Burning Desire. I was just not interested anymore like I used to be to listen to it. But something slowly started to shift since last August after I witnessed the Tropico Intro & Body Electric live
First Body Electric was on full blast but now I really appreciate Paradise again, the vocals , the dramatic feeling , the lust, the lush instrumentals & production, the visuals & music videos , it's such a beautiful work of art and deserves the praise
I completely fall in love with it again and I am happy I did. I listen to it quite a lot recently and it slays
And that's what I love about Lanas music as well, sometimes I fall out of love with certain songs or projects but one day I will always fall back in love with them again and then it hits even harder
And I'm embarrassed to admit that it took me almost a decade to appreciate and love Blue Velvet
