  1. @ivory almond YOU DON'T HAVE A MOD QUEUE ANYMORE YOU BETTER COME AND TRY AGAIN
  2. Let's goooo! Can't wait to see it, it was pure chaos and fun watching it in May! Good luck to everyone who want to participate! May the odds be ever in your favor!
  3. Today, I listened to a Southern Gothic playlist curated by Spotify and it was so good! It made me even more excited for the album, all of the songs were different but they all shared the same vibe. It was so interesting to listen to it, some of them were really dark, somber and slow but some of the other songs seemed to be also light and upbeat. Or even dark and upbeat together! There's a lot of variety in Southern Gothic style in general, I can't wait to hear Lana's vision of it!
  4. Oh! Thank you for sharing tho!

  6. I think that the lighter lyrics (even if they are like less wordy or happier in context) will be still as amazing as the complex personal wordy lyrics in Ocean Blvd. Lana will definitely not write lyrics such as "sexy confident so intelligent" Edit: for clarity I just wanna say that I hate the "stereotype" that lighter lyrics are dumb and less deep. I think that the lighter lyrics are going to be in the vein of "world-building" which Lana described a lot about NFR album and I think we can expect NFR style of lyricism and which is also great because NFR lyrics are amazing, deep and poetic. You can see some kind of a difference in NFR and Ocean Blvd that while they're both very great but NFR's style of writing is more simpler and OB's style of writing is very wordy (like in Fingertips where she also wrote complex revealing stuff we didn't know about her life). So I think that this is what Lana meant, we're going to have more world-building lyrics

    MARINA (and The Diamonds)

Idk, her poetry kinda grew on me. Like it wasn't really my thing when she started teasing in 2022 or something but some of the newest ones have some personal stuff and details in it which make it kinda interesting.

But didn't she say in Ancient Dreams era (when many of her songs went viral) that The Family Jewels makes her cringe or something? She seems to change her mind a lot tbh But ngl, I think that the reception from fans after L+F really affected her because she talked a lot how she started having nightmares and such + she also was in relationship w Jack Patterson

  15. Maybe the soft launch on the 30th July om her website supposed to be one of those new singles?
  16. There Were Stories Of A Church In The Forest Up North
  17. Gonna make a random yet simplest album track name: Wild
  18. How dare you that you didn't put Boom Like That on the album, sweetie?
  19. Let's not forget these things. In September 2020 for Interview Magazine, Lana described COTCC as Midwestern Grunge. In August 2024 for Vogue, Lana described Lasso as Southern Gothic. COTCC and Lasso are going to be different in terms of Americana, folk and country sounds!
  20. She should keep interludes to music videos, like the way how she filled the other 2 minutes of White Mustang video with trumpet music
  21. When Lana shows up to the DNC with her DNC jacket from 2021
  22. We're in for a masterpiece and do not even doubt about it! This album is going to be brilliant, I can feel it in my bones!

If not solely, this song has at least Southern Gothic vibes. I would say that about Nostalghia's most songs!

Yes! I have always found Ultraviolence title track very gothic to be honest.

I loved this song when I was a kid. I did not understand English then but I loved the mysterious vibe of it. I had always wanted her to cover it. Candy Necklace lowkey has the same vibe. I need Lana to do more murder ballads to be honest, imagine Zodiac in an Southern Gothic sound. YES MITSKI'S LAST ALBUM'S VIBE IS ALL I NEED
