Sporting events and concerts have a bad track record when it comes to handling weather events. I don’t know why more of them don’t have some sort of meteorologist or weather rep. But this isn’t about me. The show must go on! Come on Lana! It’s 9

Sounds like they’re scrapping Nikki. Given the timing of the storms, there’s a possibility Lana will be cut short if Nikki still goes on. There are more storms in North Texas heading this way, but there’s like a 2-2.5 hour window where it should be clear.

The next round of storms won’t be until after 11 most likely. Hope they get on soon!

Second storm coming in, should last maybe 20-30 minutes, but then it’s clear for hundreds of miles after. It would be so incredibly stupid to cancel this far into the situation. The weather service also canceled the severe thunderstorm warning, so I’m not sure why the venue keeps saying to seek shelter. This is so nerve wracking.

They just announced the show will go on! There’s torrential rain and lightning here now. I feel bad for everyone on the lawn, they were told to seek shelter in the bathroom or their car (very stupid idea for anyone to run all that distance to their car in an electrical storm)

As long as they don’t issue a tornado warning we should be fine, which I don’t see happening (the storm should be out of here by 8)

Severe thunderstorm warning issued for the venue, not sure if I’m happy about the venue not saying anything yet or nervous about the storm. It should pass quick, but I don’t know if protocol is to shut everything down and cancel or to wait and see if it passes the day after Lana’s Rogers show, the AMP canceled the concert that night and it barely even stormed there. it’s getting really windy here Update: there was a bunch of screaming and I thought they were evacuating. It was people for the pit stampeding gates just opened

From what I’ve heard, StubHub is pretty good. Tickets often arrive last minute though and if for some reason you don’t get the tickets, they’ve been reliable in getting a refund in most cases. Someone said they’re not required to be sent until two hours before showtime If you are looking to buy, prices seem to be lowest about a week before the show. After that, they go back up last minute. (People get desperate and supply goes down)

There are five tickets that just went up on LiveNation, look like face value, but toward the back of the 100s sections. If they were closer I’d bite, but these prices are better than most comparable resale ones. Before I could even finish my reply? It’s down to two tickets in row Z lol Are these resale or something? I’m going to push my luck and keep refreshing, see if any better ones pop up. I hope I’m not being too greedy, I just don’t think row Z is worth almost $400

Has anyone had luck with resale tickets? I’m hearing that many people who bought resale tickets for tomorrow still haven’t received them. In some cases they were told it may take until 2 hours before the show Apparently they may not yet be transferrable. Lawn tickets have jumped up to $150 after bottoming out just under $100. I’m watching seated tickets, but most seem to be near or above face value still. It’s one of the bigger venues on this leg (24,000) and a large city, so demand must be pretty high. Seriously doubting my ability to snag a ticket, unless something happens very last minute.
