I don’t expect major setlist changes, but think there may be a small surprise or two. With Nikki Lane, they gotta do at least one song together? Breaking Up Slowly? Are you trying to resell resale tickets? If so, that gets complicated. If the reseller listed that they wouldn’t have the tickets for you until the day of, that cutting it close for you and especially any future buyer. I’m reselling a single ticket to the Brandon, MS show (I’d still rather one of you come with me, contact me and I’ll give it up for 25% below what I paid at face value) and Ticketmaster says they’ll be ready three days before the show, so I listed on StubHub that they’ll be sent two days before. I bought two tickets out of desperation and I’m still going, I just need to find someone to go with me. Section 103 Row F Seat 2, I have the aisle seat and the extra ticket is one seat in. Great view. It’s a small venue, so these are very good seated tickets, only 7 rows behind the pit.

Resale ticket prices still appear to be falling… On StubHub, I’m seeing lawn tickets under $100 for the Dallas show. For some reason, the Brandon show is flooded with tickets now that I know for a fact are below face value. I know because I was trying to sell my extra ticket for what I paid, but now similar tickets are literally 20-30% lower. I’ve been watching daily and I feel good that scalpers will get screwed, but it also makes me feel more clownish for the face value price I paid I’m not sure if the same came be said for other venues, but it might be worth a look. I imagine prices may continue to drop, but demand should increase as show dates approach. This might be a good time to pounce!

UPDATE: Please disregard the site I mentioned earlier. It is by most accounts a scam site with inferior or non-existent goods. I’ll be reporting them if I see the ads again and editing my post on here to remove the mentions.

I’m trying to have an open mind on this. I didn’t have many problems with the new wave of fans at the last show of hers I saw in August, but I saw a lot of crazy stuff from them at the festivals. I’ve connected with younger fans on Instagram and most seem very chill. You always get a few on the fringe when someone has a large following. I recently got into an argument with “fans” on Reddit telling me how problematic Lana is. Okay, then maybe don’t claim to be a fan or spend all day complaining about her on her subreddit?

That’s what I was wondering lol. I couldn’t justify buying the official jacket, but for that price I almost wanna take a gamble lol

Is anyone familiar with the REDACTED Lana merch page? I keep getting blasted with their ads on Instagram and I checked it out. The prices seem low and maybe it’s too good to be true. Someone on Reddit said they’re a scam site. UPDATE: Upon further investigation, the site above is most likely fraudulent. If you see ads for Lana merchandise on clearance on Instagram from a 3rd party source, ignore it. I can see it now, you order something and because they’re “closing,” you get scammed out of the merch you ordered.

My tickets are for the 27th show and Ticketmaster says they’ll be available on the 24th. Hopefully that’ll give you some confidence that you may get them a couple of days before.

I’m playing through her catalog today to jog my memory on misheard lyrics and I’m noticing that Amazon Music has some typos and straight up mistakes? They mixed up “know” and “now” in Radio. ”boy get into my car” is listed as “bugging into my car” in Lucky Ones. There are probably other errors too, seems like lyrics aren’t always 100% right across the board with some of these sites. My misheard lyrics: In Beautiful People Beautiful Problems I heard “long live Iran” instead of “long love our reign,” but I knew that didn’t make any sense whatsoever. ”set on fire by fiends” in Cherry, I heard “thieves” instead of fiends, but there’s not a big difference there. In Did You Know… I heard “Is the camera real” instead of “It's like Camarillo.” In Terrence Loves You I heard “another day changes,” instead of “I’ll never dare change thee.” In Cola, I heard “we made out to the other side” in reference to your wife. I thought she was “making out” with the wife, to the other side of a record. There’s probably more, but that’s enough for now

Cinnamon is not sweet. I have been corrected that is is bittersweet in context. But she suggests it is on multiple occasions. Yes, I know that music lyrics don’t have to be 100% logical or based in reality. Cinnamon is often associated with sweets, but by itself it is most definitely not sweet.

Not gonna happen, but David Gilmour. The guitar god paired with the heavenly voice/lyrics of Lanita would be a dream. I miss the UV era when there was more of a guitar presence on her songs. Gilmour has also collaborated and helped produce music with Kate Bush, as well as others that loosely fall into the Lana vibe.

The Grants has really grown on me. At first, the intro was a bit jarring and I didn’t fully understand or appreciate how it connected to the rest of the record. Then I listened to it in its entirety more. Hearing it live was probably the turning point. Then I realized it sounded very similar, in parts, to another song that I like from my 2nd favorite artist. I still don’t consider it my fav fav song, but it has a special place in my heart

Hosting images natively likely adds cost. Another message board I used to post on had image upload limits, so users couldn’t spam upload, but it forced you to only upload smaller images or routinely delete old ones. I personally don’t mind not having the ability to upload images. It would probably get unintentionally spammy if everyone could “instantly” upload images. This board is pretty clean the way it is without images clogging up threads.
