  1. Yes I am lol but I quit doing TV weather because of corporate BS. So I just do freelance stuff and storm chase now but this ain’t about me
  2. Well, the back edge is almost 100 miles away, so it’s probably going to be pouring for about two hours. The most optimistic way to look at it is that the lightning and thunder should maybe last 30-45 minutes, but the back edge of the storm is still way back near the Vermont border
  3. Is it a noise ordinance? I know ball games are loud, but are concerts louder? I genuinely don’t know. She definitely needs someone better to consult. They handled the Dallas storm last year poorly, too. There’s a severe thunderstorm warning that ends at 9 PM for the area northwest of Boston. The storms are moving east-southeast at about 40 mph, so it’s going to go wayyyy past 9 PM at Fenway. I feel awful for all of you there. Don’t shoot the messenger!
  4. I thought it was 10:30 PM? The problem is, the rain is probably going to continue past that. What a mess.
  5. Not to be the bearer of bad news, but the storms are accelerating and will be moving in within the next 15-20 minutes I take full responsibility for underestimating the speed of the storms, but I also foolishly thought the show start time would have been an hour ago…
  6. The problem with the weather is timing and nature of the storms. Once they do move in, lightning and torrential rain since the storms are moving slow. (Hopefully slow enough to wait until the end of the show) So once the storm hits, that’s it. Especially with the curfew at 10:30.
  7. The good news is that the storms are sending a gust front out ahead, so it should cool down noticeably, before the rain floods in
  8. Lana, if you need a personal meteorologist, I will do it FOR FREE. I think she’ll get most of the show in, but storms could reach Boston by 9:30-10 eastern time. Possibly cutting the show short.
  9. It better not be too late because there are thunderstorms moving in from the NW in a couple hours Curfew is 10:30 local time, right?
  10. Soundchecks mean very little from past experience, but tonight, anything could happen.✨

  13. Things are about to get crazy… for a long, long time
  14. Let’s see, will at least one of these happen? -Repeat dress -Same playlist -Super late start / short ending OR This show is completely different in every way from everything she’s done over the past year
  15. It looks like the rain is going to hold off!! It’s going to be the perfect show
  16. Two things can be true at the same time. She’s a wildly successful artist and talent, but also has questionable habits around the private jet travel. I get that it’s a safety thing and the most efficient way to travel. But seeing flights to and from the same city and other short distances, like come on, totally unnecessary. I’m sure she could afford an EV motorcade. Hell, she could use her status to bring even more attention to the climate change conversation. Or maybe donate $x to the cause for each flight she takes under a certain number of miles? I haven’t followed her closely enough, is she addressing climate change at all or is she just looking disconnected and strictly threatening legal action?
  17. The protesters will get two seconds of fame and then two years in jail for stupid stunts. At least the person who started tracking her flights is doing a better job of bringing awareness to the situation. (I don’t think it’s illegal, by the way)
  18. This sounds like a job for me, as the unofficial board meteorologist. Let me go check and put together a forecast real quick. Update: So it does look like there could be a few showers or a storm during show time… but there’s a higher likelihood farther north. Hopefully Boston will luck out. It doesn’t look like severe storms, such as the ones that she’s encountered at Dallas a few times. With the nature of the rain (if it happens), it doesn’t look prolonged or like a torrential downpour, so hopefully there will be little or no disruption.
  19. I wouldn’t say that there are any songs of hers that I can’t relate to anymore, but listening to her comes in waves for me. Last year I hit peak obsession and I was constantly playing her. More specifically, I feel like I played the hell out of Ultraviolence for a number of years and while I still love the record, I try not to over-listen to it. Sometimes listening to an artist, an album or even a specific song too often can dilute the effect. All of our listening habits are different. I still listen to Lana more than most other artists, but I’m in a phase right now where my listening is a bit more moderated than this time last year, for example. But it has nothing to do with not being able to relate anymore.
  20. Reads title: Assumes it’s a silly interview with some KC newspaper. Reads post: Congratulations, this is beyond amazing, I’m a at a loss for words, finally you are the lucky one this time 🤍
