That “Burning Desire” is a fast-paced song…. I had this melody stuck in my head for one of Lana’s faster-paced unreleased songs.. but I couldn’t remember the name so I started googling Lana songs to help me find it. That’s when I stumbled onto a reddit thread about “fave fast-paced lana songs” and there were several comments answering with Burning Desire…. I could NOT believe it. That song puts me to sleep IMMEDIATELY.

Lana Del Rey - Dragonslayer

Ugh.. I once wrote this whole ass essay in my phone notes about how “Dragonslayer” is about Lana being cheated on by her boyfriend and how it ties into all the other Ultraviolence songs….. and then I deleted all the notes on my phone by accident.

Keeping Lana’s sound throughout the years in mind, I don’t see Lana using or having a reason to use AI anytime soon. However, Lana also strikes me as the type that wouldn’t completely shut herself off from the option. I don’t remember exactly where I’ve seen them, but I distinctly remember a few conversations where Lana is speaking positively about tech. Plus, she has connections with people like Elon Musk and Grimes, two people who are very open to that whole world of tech, so I’m sure she has her own reservations on the matter but has yet to share. All this is just to say to never say never with Lana. As we know by now, she is quite multifaceted. Personally, I would not be opposed to it. BUT ONLY if the music is able maintain that human touch. I think it could open a whole world of possibilities for Lana’s music sonically. I don’t want 100% AI. Anything less than 20 or 25% AI usage is fine with me. I think if it was any more than that, it becomes difficult to call that song hers. It’s also a matter of which parts are being made with AI. As someone who enjoys Lana’s lyricism and melodies.. if she ever used AI for writing, I would find it hard to keep my respect. I’m less critical about using AI for the instrumentation. However, as I said before, I don’t see Lana needing a reason for using AI unless she gets into an electro-pop mood one day (Go Go Dancer Era 2.0, anyone? ). Lool

Um.. so I’ve been having this issue recently where every time I open Lanaboards, Chrome (mobile app) will launch a simplified version of the website instead of the full version. When I try to reload the page, it will then proceed to open a page that says “chrome://offline” (or something like that). Basically, I end up having to retype the Lanaboard’s URL before being able to access the full website. Afterward the site, works as normal. Not the worst issue to have but it’s been annoying to say the least. This all happened after I pressed the “Follow lanaboards.com” button found in the Chrome menu. Apparently, it’s one of the features that will show you notifications about the website’s happenings. I got curious about it (Ik dumb… ), but removed it shortly after. Since then, the issue will come and go when I try to visit here. I’ve been hesitant to ask because I understand that this is more than likely an issue with the Chrome app on my phone rather than the website.. but I’m hoping some like-minded person might have ran into this issue at some point and could give some advice on how they were able to resolve it. Wizard of Oz - I’ve seen this one probably a 100 times literally. My absolute favorite movie that never stops filling me full of wonder and comfort. The visuals and effects are so stunning and the fact that they still hold up to this day really says something special about it. Matilda - Also, on par with Wizard of Oz. Have seen it probably just as much. I relate so much to the family dynamic and the feeling of being a different kind of thinker. Amélie - I found this movie during my uni years. The cinematography is so gorgeous and the storyline is so thoughtful in how all the pieces fit together. I see myself in the main protagonist. Not to mention, I’m a bit of a Francophile. Omgg! I said Amélie too!

For the life I would actually want: Either “Sweet Carolina” or “Cherry Blossom.” These feel safe and full of so much warm love. For the experience: “Cola” or “Peppers.”

When the only thing that Lana reveals in September is that she’s dying her hair so she can cosplay as Wonder Woman for Halloween… I mean… Glass Ship = Invisible Plane? Lasso = Lasso of Truth? Confirmed DC stan.
