Ronson produced The Like's Release Me album, which was an interesting combination of 60s girl band with the wall of sound technique and 90s soft grunge guitars. I wonder if it will sound similar to that (slowed down with jazzy orchestrations, obviously).

As usual you misunderstood everything... She gave him songs which later on ended up on UV, Giorgio was never approached as a producer of the album lel

I remember Lana said she wasn't fond of bonus tracks, but like Leaked said, it's a business move. I much prefer a standard track list without the forced bonus tracks. Yes, it's always nice to have extra music, but we have hundreds of unreleased tracks already.

I don't care if I don't have all the songs on a cd or not, it's just a cd. I just music with my phone or usb (on a radio) so why bother. If the quality is good, she can put as many songs and bonus tracks as she wants.

If by "Isn't as dark" you mean songs like American I could be down for it
But I really want songs with dark undertones, she does that better than anyone, it's cold yet elegant and calm. So amazing
 
 
 

I took it as lighter and clearer with strings. I don't want to give myself expectations because then I'd just be disappointed.

But she said she brought all ten tracks to Ronson in an earlier interview. There's really no way to know for sure just yet. 
And I still you guys are taking that "similar to BTD" comment far too seriously. She could have just meant that it's different from UV because it isn't as dark thematically.

Maybe Heath and Nowels are somehow involved too:

She said 4 songs are already finished but didn't confirm the producer. I'm not entirely sure if Mark is the responsible for the production of those tracks since they sound closer to Born to Die and Paradise.

Agreed. His writing is good, but his production almost always kills the atmosphere of songs for me.
 
Nowels, however, is incredibly gifted and really brings Lana's words to life.

I am not a fan of his Enya-like soundscapes he makes. Bel Air however will always remain a favourite.
 
But see, I never warmed up to Paradise and Nowels was responsible for that one the most. Maybe I should have better said Nowels than Heath, cause he is the one who is giving me more Enya vibes than Heath.

Why not Heath?

I know Haynie produced most of BTD but there was still a bit more variety than UV which I'd like to see on Honeymoon.

Lana seems to prefer working with a main producer for each LP to ensure cohesiveness. Kahne, Haynie, Auerbach. It seems like she'll have Ronson produce the majority of Honeymoon tracks unless he does not agree to.

Completely agree. I do enjoy how BtD and UV had such a cohesive sound, but I'm definitely not against variety. I mean, variety doesn't mean the overall sonic vision won't be there, but it could add interest.

I hope this is whats happening. I think its great if she had a hand full of different producers on the album who all compliment each other.

I was reading Mark Ronson's interview for Billboard and he didn't mention Lana or any project he's working right now. He will be busy promoting this Bruno Mars single and his album  so if Lana wants him producing Honeymoon she will have to wait a little longer I guess. I'm praying for them to work together tho
