i can't stand mark zuckerberg. it's infuriating how he's allowing LGBT hate speech on meta while he continues to spread his cheeks for the republican party. i downloaded xiaohongshu and you can actually get banned for misinformation and hate on this platform like of course the government will use this to censor things but also like, wow, it's really that easy to just make a policy?? then enforce it??

some progress has been made on the fires. the sunswept fire in studio city has been extinguished, the hurst fire has been 10% contained. but also, new fires appear to be popping up unpredictably. what it will ultimately come down to is how much the weather changes in the next few days and how much state and federal support comes in. biden is now focused on dealing with the fire so we'll see how much of a difference that makes against what is truly a fire of biblical proportions

https://www.nbcnews.com/video/fire-crews-making-progress-against-sunset-fire-in-hollywood-hills-228838469870 they're making progress against the sunset fire as winds appear to be lessening. there may be some hope

i really hope i'm wrong about this but with the strong winds there right now, it looks like things are going to get even worse in the hours to come. it's really bad.

started getting into djing last week (downloaded fuser and a bunch of charli xcx songs). it's fun and i'm going to play around with fuser for a while and see if it sticks, then consider maybe buying some real dj equipment. when's the last time you heard the first 5 seconds of judah smith interlude then skipped to a&w

watched this for the first time other night and i was really into the cinematography and set building of this movie. like elisabeth sparkles show was like 80's workout vhs vibes and then sue's show is like a borderline strip show with a gay bathhouse track bassline going ham in the background. also the way the camera and sound effects emphasize the grinding and crunching sounds anytime someone's eating, making food this really disturbing thing. maybe i only noticed these things because of how notoriously unsubtle this movie is but the way they executed the cuts and the score and stage building were really masterful to me

Donald Trump & JD Vance Win 2024 US Presidential Election
Slutto replied to That Venice Bitch's topic in World News
Teamsters withholding their endorsement for the first time in decades should have been a HUGE wakeup call for dems. Dems squandered their union/labor support and Republicans swooped in to add them to their base. The democratic coalition needs to be rebuilt from the ground up now cuz all that's left is college educated coastal elites and even their support feels lukewarm at best -

yeah but the government who's supposed to hold trump and elon accountable for stuff like this is entirely populated by trump's cronies at this point so it doesn't matter -
Breaking: Republicans Control all 3 Branches of US Government

while a national abortion ban is definitely in the realm of possibilities i personally think it's more likely they'll just leave it up to the states. people voted overwhelmingly in support of abortion rights this year even in red states. we'll have to see how states rights on these issues pan out, and i think this will also pertain to things like obergefell. the biggest obstacle to the conservative agenda right now is trump's inevitable plan to just rob the government blind and make it completely unable to enforce any kind of regulation -
