Until the Ribbon Breaks was her US opener in August and I believe is again? Earlier shows had 11 songs, but iHeartRadio was a bit longer--she sang all but one of the album songs, three EP songs, two covers, and one totally new song. I'm hoping she adds Hold My Liquor and Good Fights to all her live sets

You can buy Team on iTunes Hey guys, I saw this great observation on Tumblr: "Tennis Court", the first track on Pure Heroine, begins "Don't you think that it's boring how people talk?" "A World Alone", the last track on Pure Heroine, ends "People are talking, people are talking--let 'em talk." IDK THIS FUCKED ME UP GOOD SHE'S SO GREAT THIS ALBUM JKBFPHVH

Minor General Questions that Don't Deserve Their Own Thread
Sitar replied to Monicker's topic in Lana Thoughts
I feel semi confident that it goes: Demo, produced by David Kahne (2009) - 3:13 Final, produced by Jayson Michael + appearing in the homemade video (2010) - 4:01 -
In her career. Like earlier performances make it sound very rocky (see SXSW, I believe the first performance of the song), but later ones sound very Rechtshaid-y. For instance.

So let's chat. Regarding "Heartbreak High"--there was a lot of frenzy with that leak and not much talk of technicalities. As a result, I have two versions of the song. One is 3:13, the other is 3:01. The shorter one ends on "living in a--", so you'd think it would just be a cut off version, but when you go to 3:01 on the longer version it's just an instrumental outro. Which is correct? What's going on? Ahhhhh?

Listening to all live recordings of "Can't Say No" and crying out loud Especially that period where she started to change it from the rocky interpretation to the more pop, presumably album version UGHHHHHH. How could this song not make the album?!

hnnnnnng delete this thread, there is nothing wrong with CMYCMA in any form

HOW do we not have this?!?! Lucky Ones Jealous Girl JFK American Dream To make this a more interesting thread we should probably explain ourselves but I'm bored of ruffling feathers over Lana songs I dislike

I want to say that there's no backing out now that it's a month away (or a month from my concert, in fact), but I thought the same about the I Will EP which was supposed to come out this week until just a few days ago But yeah I don't believe she's ever had a tracklist and a date before! Also Amazon has YNTO set to release on the 24th...http://www.amazon.com/Youre-Not-The-One/dp/B00F14HOXG Better be on iTunes on the 17th.

Then again, she labelled the mixtape as a demo itself, so...Hopefully we just find the whole thing lying around somewhere. And now I really want the 2012 demos shiiiiit, like I have a feeling the EP is going to be just the 5 songs she's put out so far but it would be awesome if she threw those in there. LMAO I don't know why I said Norwegian, Danish? Uh, another MOR song was on the page with Crackwhore etc--"Har du hørt dem". I can't manage to rip the Edmunds songs that don't have DLs but I will try later on a different program.

More underlying fisting messages in Lorde videos please. "Well this one is about suddenly becoming famous but still being a normal girl, and I wrote this one for me and my friends...Also kinda wrote this one for me and my friends. Oh, but this one is about getting old. This one, though, it's about society and materialism and war. And this one, it's about suddenly becoming famous but still being a normal girl. I like this one, though, it's about being famous and a teen--it's kinda for me and my friends. And...fame. And this one, well, it's about being a teen but not just any teen. And this one's for my friends."

Holy shit Thank you for sharing everything you find! I'd expect a few hoards (but MØ isn't a Lana Del Rey so what's the point really?) but you're finding stuff every day! Crying that none of it is A Pseudonymous Twosome, though--"Off We Go" is so good. And that mixtape could have completely new versions of songs, remember the website listed nearly all of them as demos! (+ we have Yo Yo which you didn't bold) What you can do with large files is download them and convert them in iTunes--from the drop down file menu there should be "create MP3 version" or something of that ilk. But I will get to ripping this stuff as best I can, I just use a Firefox plugin! And the only show she's doing near me is 21+ Hopefully she opens for someone I like eventually bc that seems to be the best way to see a lot of smaller acts. EDIT: Oh there's another Norwegian song on that bandbase page too!

I thought the same about "Boys", good to know. I have a suspicion that it's the "New New New" or "Drop You" snippet from her soundcloud bc Jordan said that snippet was originally on the album and Boys is one of the few unheard songs that could be more upbeat. When I further looked up "Omanko", it seemed to me that it was more like the Japanese equivalent of cunt than just pussy. Like with added offense. She don't wanna sell in Japan I guess

She completely re-shot the ATM Jam video I hope the red hair still factors in but I wouldn't be mad if she got rid of that raver motocross suit... But I'm so excited for the new song, it's been so long! We heard ATM Jam what, in June? The remix was more exciting than its actual release.

OMG I'm about to abuse this. Any others you want to emphasize over the rest (because lbr not adding all)?

Did you sleep with The Strokes? I've never been to a concert alone (mostly because I don't trust myself to drive in the city), but once I got away from my friends in the pre-entry line mob and saw the opportunity to get close to the stage without waiting for them and took it. I had a lot of fun, so I wouldn't rule the option out Anyway, upcoming: Lorde (Sept. 24th) Sky Ferreira (Sept. 29th) City and Colour (Oct. 17th) Charli XCX (Nov. 4th) Hoping to convince someone to see Jay Brannan with me but I'm already missing a ton of school

Pure Heroine by Lorde, signed :jimhairflip: I'm looking to get CHVRCHES and Natalia Kills' albums physically, as well, but I have two concerts this month so we'll see after I blow my college tuition on merch

Yeahhhhhh let's go ahead and keep this in one thread lest we get a reputation Tbh I feel better about the quote now that I've heard Black Beauty and AFFA--deliver music like that and I'll lick the mud off your superior artistic tennis shoes, Lanz They're certainly more poetic.
