  1. Made a cover pls love me:
  2. The notebook says "TOOK UR" but okay everyone
  3. Well like the iTunes promo video was SOC, UV then BBBY so I'm p sure it BBBY next
  4. Someone awesome made a really great list of the album's production credits taken from the booklet. Great way to see who does what per person instead of per track on the booklet. Just thought the album's production should have its own page!
  5. I'm not bashing low quality vids, but it looks like it was literally shot on an iPhone (wheras Summertime Sadness wasn't). She could have co-directed it with a big director and get the same message/storyline out in a better looking video... The fact that the preview on Noisey's YouTube (the intro of the song) and the preview on Instagram (the bridge) look exactly the same with no progress to me just says that this video is going to be awful. Looks like she stole a wedding dress and broke into a chapel to film it or something... Morello from OITNB teas
  6. The "VICE now running shit" tweet to me implies her video with Nabil got scrapped - which if it is, I will be super pissed over. This does not look like anything Nabil would ever think about filming... so I'm PRAYING it's a lazy BTS video of the real thing. Edit: Confirmed: Nabil Elderkin did not direct Ultraviolence ugh sigh ew
  7. No fighting in Troyes thread thanks
  8. He wrote a version ages ago before the book was even going to be turned into a movie. He has a close relationship with John Green and he wanted it to be on the film's official soundtrack. It wasn't put on there so Troye released it anyway... #truthtea
  9. He follows me on Tumblr and I send him a Lana shirt! I got the tracklist for his EP lmao: 1. Happy Little Pill 2. Touch 3. Fun 4. Gasoline 5. The Faults In Our Stars MMXIV And actually Troye was 'famous' before he was a Youtuber as a classical singer and actor. He played young Wolverine in X Men and he posted videos of him singing since he was 14. If he wants to make pop music then let him live - bye. More talented than someone who talks shit on a forum for fun or someone whose relevancy relies on hoarding photos...
  10. Ya'll getting so worked up over TOSTB
  11. Yeah, I think it's "Took your back to Detroit" Like "Took the bus" or "took the plane" - she took the back of his bike...
  12. To be honest it looks more like: TOOK UR B__ DETROIT BACK TO THE PROMISED LAND and like in she song is sounds more like 'Took your' than 'Took you' but 'Took your back to Detroit' doesn't make sense? Unless she means like idk sitting on the back of his motorbike
  13. He directed the music video for Bon Iver's 'Holocene' I'm 110% sold SOLD
  14. I think Lana's just really volatile when it comes to interviews. She so clearly just wants to be left alone but I think she definitely wants to get her story across but she just doesn't know how to phrase it and it makes her frustrated when journalists focus on the same shit.
  15. Your hot, hot weather in the summer High, high, neglectful lover Hot, hot weather in the summer High, neglectful lover You're crumbling... sadly You're sadly... crumbling 110% sure Also it's 'your' and not 'you're hot, hot weather in the summer' because Lana says in the bridge 'can't do nothing about his strange weather' - weather belongs to him. His weather.
  16. Lemonade is pointless but it makes sense
  17. Also it's hard to pinpoint whether they were hacked from her laptop or hacked from her emails (to producer/from producer) But I'm sure we can assume that all acapellas were hacked Good list! MMITPM was 98% found on a publishing site somewhere
  18. white lines (of) baking powder [cocaine]
  19. Omg hahaha that's bad. Maybe if Lana sees it she'll push to get the rights to cover it again 8)
  20. I kinda think it's about Taylor Swift, though Taylor hasn't said anything publicly about Lana. In the interview, she said the artist 'sneered about' her apparently inauthentic style. So to me it sounds like it wasn't a very public accusation. Taylor's been accused of copying Lana's videos because worked with Anthony Mandler twice, sure that might not be her fault... but the comparisons are still there. Both videos were after Lana's: National Anthem = 22, Ride = I Knew You Were Trouble. She didn't say anything about copying her sound. Just her style. Taylor's videos were almost carbon copies and she even did a monologue- which would have been her idea and not Mandler's. Also, Taylor has a reputation for being a 'whore' since she's dated so many men especially in the music industry: Fucked Her Way Up To The Top? Lana could be bitter that she used Reeve Carney in her I Knew You Were Trouble video? A while ago, there was a thread on here which was about a song that Taylor wrote called The Lucky One (which was supposedly about Joni Mitchell but it was never confirmed by anybody apart from Taylor herself in an interview- though, if it were really about Lana do we think she would just downright say it?) Also, Lorde and Taylor are pretty good friends. One of them attended the other's birthday party or something, so if Lorde has any hate against Lana, I'm sure it would have rubbed off on Taylor a little bit. I think Taylor probably said really mean things Lana in private and Lana heard it. New to town with a made up name in the angel city, Chasing fortune and fame. And the camera flashes, make it look like a dream. You had it figured out since you were in school. Everybody loves pretty, everybody loves cool. So overnight you look like a sixties’ queen. Now it’s big black cars, and Riviera views, And your lover in the foyer doesn't even know you And your secrets end up splashed on the news front page.
