i've got to say, I really do like the vocal delivery of the chorus in the live version of Pierre far more than the delivery of the studio version. It's so staccato in the regular version and far more soulful in the live.

She did kind of "explain" this saying that she chose to do it because she could do it in "one take" and that it was like a standard to her. She could just go in the studio and do it quickly. Tbh, I always thought she rerecorded it for an "official" release so that she could perform it again. But she's never performed it.

I've been a massive fan for years. She started releasing music in 2012, but her first official full length project didn't come until last summer (2014). She's beyond dope. From Brooklyn, NY. She's Trinidadian and Jamaican and raps a lot about loving herself and being too good for everything that crosses her path. She raps about loving her body, being healthy and living her life. She's really irreverent and subversive and all about questioning the norm. It's really feel good music. It's like a flu shot but for your self-esteem. She has not had anything officially released to buy as of yet, but her sound cloud is a *PRETTY* comprehensive source for her work. I choked. Yeah, I think y'all are forgetting when Lana did the iTunes festival and literally Ride was debuting LIKE THE NEXT DAY and she didn't perform it. I watched that whole performance waiting for her to debut the song to a big new audience. I was so shocked when she didn't. (Like almost personally offended)

I really like Caught because it's just good, simple, straightforward writing. Florence has a tendency to really write quite "highfalutin" music- both sonically and lyrically ( ). And we all love her for it- she's very grand and dramatic and there's a real deep meaning there to all of her riddles and rhymes. But sometimes, in the midst of all of that, people just want a song that they can say "Oh wow, I've felt this way" upon the first listen. And I think Caught is like that. Or the most like that of this bunch of songs. where is this interview? Also, my favorites are: Ship to Wreck, What Kind of Man, HBHBHB, Queen of Peace, Long & Lost, Third Eye, & Mother
