I'm so so so in love with Salvatore! I really wanted this song to be beautiful because that name is beautiful (IMO) and I was just taken away with it as soon as I heard the song even in LQ! It's so romantic and dreamy!
I don't even know what this song will do to me in HQ when the album is out!

You know, I can see how all of her previous work has influenced this record, which is really cool. It's neat as a fan to feel like you've made a journey with her and her music. But also this record's very different from anything else she or her contemporaries have done before. I really love how she's always changing it up and producing different material from what's out there. It makes me proud to be a fan!

I'm so sad so many people dislike TLY. I just heard the entire album and I still love it. It does something to me emotionally.

yeah I'm sure people are excited about listening to a lq recording that we already have that STARTS with what seems like everyone's least favorite song, TLY haha

Just leaving Urban Outfitters, so glad I went! I'm pretty sure there were two kids from lanaboards there, too, singing and talking over everything. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE

The sounds of people moving hangers around on racks.

The production on this record is so interesting.

-I Knew You Were Trouble video is an exact copy of Ride (down to the monologue)
    -Style Video// Summertime Sadness
-Wildest Dreams sounds exactly like without you, or a BTD reject
not to mention both Style and IKYWT used the same director that both of the videos copied
1989 is pretty much what Lana would sound like if she were to sell out

    She even stole Lana's friend

Okay, that's all, folks. Is Tayor a Lana rip off or just a huge fan? Discuss!

Read some of her new lyrics, hmm...

    "Distance, timing, breakdown, fighting, silence..."
Describing a tragic relationship? I've seen it before
"Wining and dining, drinking and driving, excessive buying, overdose and dying"

"Oh my God, look at that face"
You love your lover's face, huh? Why doesn't it make you party then?
"Oh that face makes me wanna party"

"You got that James Dean daydream look in your eye and I got that red party dress lip classic thing that you like [...] You got that long hair, slicked back, white t-shirt and I got that good girl faith and a tight little skirt"
What is all this Instagram imagery?
But wait... there's more Lana-inspired lines in "Style"!
"Takes me home, lights are off"
"Lights, camera, acción... if he likes me, takes me home"
He can take you home Tay, but he won't put you in the Oscar-winning movie Tropico!

And now, Lana's best megamix, "Wildest Dreams"!
"Let's get out of this town, drive out of the city, away from the crowds [...] This is gonna take me down" vs Lucky Ones' "Let's get out of this town, baby we're on fire. Everyone around here seems to be going down, down, down"

"He's so tall and handsome as hell" vs American's "You were like, tall, tan" vs National Anthem's "God, you're so handsome!"

"Say you'll remember me standing in a nice dress" vs Blue Jeans' "Say you'll remember..." And, of course, the iconic comparison between "Wildest Dreams"' melody and "Without You"'s.

    There's more!

"Looking at it now... last December... we were built to fall apart"
"But I still remember the day we met in December..."

    "It's been a long 6 months"
"Remember me the way I was 6 months ago"

Taylor isn't that dumb and she doesn't want the world to know she's the biggest Lana Del Rey fan, and that's why she says "clear blue" in "This Love" instead of the legendary "dark blue".

"You stand with your hand on my waist"
"Put your hands on my waist, do it softly"

"You're still all over me like a wine-stained dress"
What? Hmmm... wine is usually red so, does she have a little red party dress on?

I was hardcore thinking about this two days ago. It's getting harder and harder to tolerate this greedy little bitch girl.

I thought she was referencing plastic pink flamingos as well but now that you mention it she could be referencing the movie, I mean she name drops streets, singers and even popular songs, why wouldn't she incorporate a movie?
Plus the neon sign title seems to go with that reference... might be reaching tho

EDIT. Now that I think of it, it'd be kinda weird to feel 'fascination' towards a plastic garden ornament but if it's the movie then it makes a little bit more sense... just a thought

The font used in the movie poster for 'Pink flamingos' is the same/very similar to the font on the MTWBT cover. She also mentions the title of the movie in MTWBT, what does this mean? What is she trying to show by doing this?
