  1. My only hope and dream is that she finally is making a proper album with Miles Kane. She mentioned in an interview for L4L that they formed a band but not much came from it. Imagine Lana vocal with Last Shadow Puppets / Arctic Monkeys sound....
  2. I don't even know if in this life I will ever start to like "Hope is a Dangerous Thing..."
  3. can anyone confirm exactly what's the difference between the leak and the digital version? So far I've got these - Antonoff talking at the end of "Hope..." - Different "Fuck It" version Is that it?
  4. This is the Lana equivalent to "2018 is the year when I'm finally realising things"
  5. Who the fuck was in charge of the CD cover? Like you could just put the NFR comic logo on the right bottom corner (like the vinyl print) and it would already make the cover looks more even. smh
  6. All I care about is how ridiculous AJayII's reaction is going to be for queen mother
  7. At the end of Hope.... CD version: "'Cos I had you in my head Are you real? Are you real? Yeah? Is there any chance that I will wake up on the floor and the song not exists? It will be very sad If I wake up and you don't exist and this song doesn't exist Yeah I hope you're real" Whose voice is it? Jack Antonoff?
  8. send credit to my 12 year old self who joined Lanaboards when people were still arguing about My pussy tastes like Pepsi Cola
  9. Spotify is famous for low quality music so that could be exactly why
  10. The show is from 7pm-9pm. For exact time I think @AnnieMac will tweet at some point today
  11. Same same but different - her music style is more varied this time around but not too much to disappoint any existing Lana fan. Also, not as happy as Lana claimed (check out the Pitchfork interview for more insight) Love and L4L were (imo) the happiest songs on the record and she already released them as singles.. I can ensure you it will get more interesting (and depressing ) why don't you get it online or the CD delivered?
  12. She never seems to complain about Interscope/major label, whereas Azalea leaves Interscope, and Dan Auerbach gave us an insight into how Interscope didn't like Ultraviolence, and etc. Why is it? To be fair, Interscope is quite sensible to her in the sense that she doesn't have to put more tracks on Honeymoon to make a deluxe version, she doesn't have to do TV performance or interviews, or even touring regularly. She seems like whatever music she's made it was possible to put it out via Interscope.
  13. FOUR albums in FOUR years. Still better than Frank Ocean
  14. The quality and depth in her music made me appreciate art (in general) a lot more.
  15. Remember when Lana mentioned 'surrealist' lyricism in an interview? Salvatore is exactly one of the song like that. I like how she developed in her writing and moved on to telling us a story rather than her own feelings (she also mentioned about this in another interview prior to Honeymoon release). She has always been a great writer. People who think her lyric in this album is shallow, well they don't understand or even remotely try to understand the lyric. And the cover artwork itself, it's brilliant. If you don't think so, well it's what Lana wanted to incorporate with her album, i.e. another way of making her vision into life. If you don't like it, don't bash it like Lana is some dumb whore, try to keep an open mind. I personally think it's beautiful and goes very well with the soundscape.
  16. Paradise is technically a standalone album with different vision, compared to Born to Die. Lana's stans should really get this right. Even in interviews Lana referred to Paradise as a separate album / body of work
  17. Yup COHESIVE that's what Honeymoon is! This album is very long, 14 tracks and over an hour but it's good every song from the start to the end. Born to Die was good in the public's opinion, what made her so famous, which had a lot of exceptional tracks. But who would thought Lana would even be better with age (there's Ultraviolence and now Honeymoon)? Most of us wouldn't be able to predict this
  18. Ultraviolence was even #1 or in Top 10 for many of the charts, but it isn't the case for Honeymoon this year. This year there are Kendrick Lamar, Adele, Jamie xx, Florence and many other good albums which made Honeymoon underrated which is a shame. High By the Beach is still a bop though.
  19. I'm sad by how unpopular Honeymoon is on the year-end charts and news articles. Her best album so far..... and a lot better than many of the famous one released in 2015. I'm still glad that one of the 2015 Best Songs chart included 'Honeymoon' (the song) in despite not being a single, it is truly a magnificent song.
