the way its not circus themed at all

@BoardingSchool actually explained it really well! Comfortably Numb refers to the Pink Floyd song, and Lithium refers to the Nirvana song. I think that whole verse refers to how she coped with her home life and the music she listened to would influence her own songwriting.

Fixed what i could!

I tried to fix what I could, but I think some of mine could be wrong too!

I am pretty sure they meant by spending so much on shooting in another country + at a castle basically. She put herself to such high expectations and it kind of fell flat

Blue Banisters - Pre-Pre-Release Thread

Apparently its worse... the three singles just have the car selfie but edited in three different ways. We didn't think it could get worse than Chuck but Lana is always one to prove us wrong! -
the photo not showing aKLSJDFGHG

If you guys look into @freedumb's account then you will see the true story! They're literally Darla, the same Darla that fakes having every Lana album since Honeymoon ... the same Darla that tried to say Pink Ice Cream was on Honeymoon, etc. They introduced themselves as Darla from Twitter and then proceeded to bring up Darla's snippets when no one noticed lol.

I talked to the photographer when those those two photos first leaked and he said he only posted them because he had taken them so long ago (probably in early 2017) that he had assumed the album had already been released at that point. He said they were meant to be the front and back cover of the actual album. Not sure why they were scrapped tho or why the photoshoot was done so early if the album wasn't done at that point (unless she did think she was close to finishing it at one point?)

she obviously does care with the obscene amount of leaks we’ve gotten in such a short amt of time paired with info and snippets of new material…. why would melanie have someone else talking about her own stuff when the label probably doesnt even want her mentioning it to not bring attention

here come the delusionals -
While it probably is scrapped, it’s still new material that shouldn’t be posted here whatsoever…
-
You're literally not supposed to share upcoming snippets of songs in here, even if scrapped, as we don't know Melanie's intentions with the song currently.
-
BTW this is all @Mercury's fault for literally playing new material to a CROWD of like 50 people in a Discord chat lol... whatever ends up getting scrapped - blame him

Oooh History was real! Didn’t know if it was just a rumor or not https://dbree.org/v/ac147e

it’s a real melanie song

Not Kinetics & One Love!!
-
Ooooooooh, that explains it Too bad all I can think of when I hear Twins now is K-12
-
Yes!!! I do think K-12 was a "downgrade" quality and thematically wise but I love it as its own thing. I wish she didn't dwindle down the potential in most of the songs just to fit the script, but besides that i think its nice for what it was
-
Nope I really love their songs on both of those too </3 At least the ones we have w them are pure masterpieces
-
Honestly Gluestick and Eraser could have benefited K-12 SO much. Eraser reminds me a lot of Orange Juice in some bits and both songs have (idk the word for it????) cinematic choruses They're so visual (is what i'm getting at) and could've worked so well

That Night Mime version that Mercury posted is the cry baby version btw if that wasn't clear !!
